NOTD: Sinful #836 Serena & Chloe

This is a very nice summery polish. It warms me up just looking at it. I also like the shimmer and how glossy it is. The pictures is three coats.

NOTD: Nubar Orange Crème

I've done a NOTD with this before, but I found it in my stash, and I figured it would make me feel a bit warm. I think it's a lovely color.

NOTD: Nubar Illuminating Apricot

Nubar Illuminating Apricot is a clear polish with orange shimmer. It's quite pretty and sparkly, but doesn't look that great on me because the white parts of my nails seem to disappear and appear at random.

NOTD: Precision Call Me Pumpkin

Well, the good thing about short nails, is that I feel very comfortable wearing bright and dark colors. This one is really bright! It's a beautiful neon orange. Another advantage is that you need fewer coats of polish on shorts nails. I think I used two coats for this mani.

NOTD: Color Club Tangerine Scream

This is from Color Club's summer collection. I believe it's called Electro Candy. It's a pretty amazing color, much more neon than it looks in the picture. The shimmer is lovely. Application was seriously weird. It was sort of streaky and didn't stick to the nail properly. After three coats I managed to get a decent result.

NOTD: Nubar Orange Crème

This is a lovely pastel orange. It has the problems that pastels usually have: chalky and streaky, but after three coats the result is smooth and pretty. Very spring :)

NOTD: Introducing Rusty

Yes, you really are seeing this. I'm wearing my first franken polish: Rusty. Rusty is made of Max Factor clear polish and a loose mineral eyeshadow. Application was surprisingly good. It has a jelly quality to it, and it dries quite fast. I have to admit that I sort of love it. The picture is three coats.

Ohhhh, pretty. This is such a lovely coppery orangy polish. Very warm. Application was quite good. The picture is three coats.

I don't know about this one, you guys. I think it sort of looks like glowy rust on my finger nails. Is that the hot new look for spring? Pigmentation sort of sucks too. This is four (4) coats, and you can still see my nail line. It does have a gorgeous glow though.

NOTD: Sally Hansen Exquisite Peach

This is a polish from the Sally Hansen Diamond Strength Nail Color that I picked up on ebay. I was hoping it would be opaque, but it turned out to be semi sheer. The picture is 3 coats. It's a lovely coral with teal and silver shimmer. It's quite stunning. In general I don't like sheers when my nails are long. Some of the white parts of my nails turn transparent when I grow them out. No idea why.

NOTD: Nubar Sun Gold

I know you might not believe me, and I have absolutely no proof, but this is a duochrome. In natural light it has this beautiful coral flash. It's so lovely. Unfortunately it doesn't show up in most lighting conditions, including where I took my pictures. It's a very pigmented polish. This is two coats.

NOTD: Nfu-Oh # 80

Wow, this was difficult to photograph. The orange micro glitter/shimmer is absolutely beautiful. It just glows.

This is 3 coats and the polish is still not opaque ("Why so sheerious?", I guess the Joker would say). I think this would look fantastic layered over red or black.

NOTD: China Glaze Cross Iron 360 - Skiing with the flu!

I'm very sorry for the messy application. I have a flue and my hands are shaking. I wanted a color that would cheer me up, and I chose Cross Iron 360 from the Ski Collection. I don't really know if it's orange or copper, but I love it!
