After the complete and utter exhaustion we felt the night before, we were still just as excited to go back to Disneyland. This time we had a plan. We knew exactly what we wanted to accomplish before the end of the day.
First up on the list was meeting a few more characters. Minnie Mouse was so cute. We were the last ones allowed in her line then they closed it.
Then, we were just walking and minding our own business when Snow White and the Evil Queen walked in front of us and just stopped. We got to be the first in their line!
But that was where our luck ended. We waited for an hour and a half for Rapunzel. It was pretty miserable but Mimi insisted it would all be worth it.
Rapunzel was so cute with her. She commented on their matching outfits, and she wondered if Pascal and Mimi's Cookie (her new kitty) would get along. Mimi assured her they would.
Worth the wait!
Next I insisted that we needed to go on a ride, and preferably one that did not have a wait. Armadillo and Scooter suggested the Monorail (Scooter's favorite), not only did we not have to wait, but we got to sit in the nose! That was a pretty great way to see the whole park.
Nina and Pa took us on the Buzz Lightyear ride and then we got in line for the Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage. Mimi did NOT want to go on it, but we somehow talked her into it and it ended up being her favorite ride! After this Weffy, Nina and I ran over to Space Mountain, while everyone else went to wait for the Tiki room.
The kids and I hiked to the top of Tarzan's treehouse.
Then we took a tour on the Jungle Cruise. The others tried to go on the Haunted Mansion but it was closed!
Here's a picture in front of the Tiki room. Everyone loved the show and sitting down in a cool room was refreshing.
Then we were finally able to do the Teacups! The kids had been waiting for this one! I think this was Jojo's favorite ride because she giggled the whole time.
Pa skipped with the girls all day. It was so cute.
We finally headed over to California Adventure. We saw the Aladdin show. I really enjoyed it, but Jojo was getting very restless so I had to take her out. Later I found out that a bunch of the guys in our group would gladly have left the show to take her out. That was a bummer. But Jojo and I had fun people watching while we waited for the show to end.
We caught a quick dinner then took Scooter and Mimi on Soarin' Over California. Armadillo hated this ride when we went to Disneyland 10 years ago, so he happily stayed behind with the baby. I was worried that it would be too scary for the kids but they both loved it! Mimi laughed so hard when the golf ball came flying at us, and Scooter was grinning from ear to ear!
We went on the Little Mermaid Ride and Mimi was enthralled! She kept putting her hands on her cheeks because she thought everything was so cute.
The last ride I really wanted to do was California Screamin' so Weffy and I went to do that while Armadillo took the kids over to wait in the long line at Toy Story Mania. Weffy and I walked on the roller coaster and then made it over to help Armadillo in the line, so we went on one last ride all together. Pa took care of Jojo. Those two were practically inseparable!
I don't know where Nini, Mookie and Colby were all this time. They must have gone shopping, so we met them outside the park and we all did a little more shopping. I bought the kids Disneyland Candyland. I couldn't resist! My parents got Armadillo a hat for his birthday. Then we left the park a bit earlier than the night before. It was bittersweet. We were so tired and ready to be done, but it was hard to leave the Happiest Place on Earth!
