Jeux d'enfants.

It occurs to me that everything in life is a direct result of something else. If I had called back to make good on that dinner date, would we have been actual friends now, and not right back where we started?

Sometimes it seems to me that we could have made it right again (however utterly wrong it was - or at least ended up). Friends who are able to say hi in a normal fashion, or even have a friendly lunch together (wouldn't it be nice?), and not have our respective groups of friends sneer at each other in such a fashion [it makes me squirm sometimes, its like they hate me so].

Its almost as if I had a palpable chance [wasn't dinner fun?], but let it slip away between the very tips of my fingers.

Friendster makes people like me sad. Most of the time I couldn't quite give a fuck, but its odd times like these I wish...

I wish.

Fool of a Took.

RotK was *fantastic*. Gandalf. :> Marathoned Two Towers at Ying's before driving down to down for dinner where everything was closed at a measly 10.30pm... [Where are the people who get off work late supposed to eat?! Lau Pa Sat every Mon-Fri?] Slacked around from 11+ til 12.15am, chugging on plenty of coffee (double shot, no sugar) where I must have grumbled 10 times over about the ridiculousness of the dumb time. What's another 14 hours?!?!

Anyway, movie proper rocked when we finally got down to it. Absolutely riveting (except for fumbling Frodo -_-), and not that I was occupied drooling over any of the characters either (Gandalf... ^_^). Definitely beats both Fellowship and TT hands down; I think its just made a fan out of me. Spent a third of the time debating the plausible subtext - are Frodo/Sam and/or Pippin/Merry exchanging more than pained expressions with their doe eyes? ;p Hobbitch's.

Got back at 5, and died til 3.

Feed the lohan, feed the lohan!

My turn to catch Cinderel-LAH! at the Jubilee Hall, Wild Rice's latest musical-patomime offering. Truth be told, it was kinda a little slapstick at times (cue Karen Tan's OTT wailing), but it most certainly had its moments. Stupid iron and kettle scene (my FAV :>)... and the traumatic pseudo-humping of the pole. ;p

And... er, my temporary 'thing' for Hossan Leong. The similiarities are... hhhh, mind-boggling. Especially with the long wig. Before everyone starts thinking I've gone stark raving mad/blind, he does have killer legs and hips... and um, honestly kinda looks not bad in drag...

Bought the soundtrack and got it signed, but no Hossan. -_- Looking forward to Porcelain, and praying (hoping?) like crazy that both Bent and ITT will see a second season... WHEN I'M AROUND.

Watching Return of the King tomorrow at frickin' 0045. HELLO?! Its not as if I'm an ardent fan and absolutely can't wait another 14 hours to catch it. Argh. Trust Ying to book tix. -_-

Chain of Fools.

Tada! Nifty (well at least to me!) new blog layout, constructed somewhat from scratch (partial credit to may*star - there, don't sue me) and 99.9% by trial and error. So rawr!!! *struts* ^_^ Blogout utility for comments too, though I can't seem to get it the colour I want... it should be #CDCDCD, not #999999! (yes, I'm showing off... ;p) Oh, and the picture...

Been back in flogging-land for close to 2 weeks now, and things are just s-l-o-w-l-y moving along. Life's good, can't complain really, but I shall attribute the placidity that's slowly creeping in to anonymity. I kinda like it, but just for a little while more.

Got a brand spanking new lappy from the Sitex fair. :> Its *sooo* pretty! So I'm an aesthetics person, deal. Can't wait to go pick it up... and it damn well better not be a scam.

Only 2am, and I'm so fucking sleepy its disgraceful. -_-

Think that you're mine;
Because it ain't no joy
