Bonobo.

It's that time of the year again. 3 consecutive days of coming face to face with the Army and having to make nice for the sake of both convention and respecting the elders and those little red offerings that you -- quite thankfully -- leave with.

Get ready for the barrage of:

1. "So how, got boyfriend already not?"
2. "How old are you this year?" (... following that, see #3)
3. "Wah 24 already ah! [Insert #1 here]"
4. "Eh this year is your year right? The pig?"
5. "How's Melbourne?"
6. "... when you coming back?"

"What, you're gonna base your life on who you're stuck in a room with?"
"I'm gonna base this moment on who I'm stuck in a room with. That's what life is, it's a series of rooms, and who we get stuck in a room with adds up to what our lives are."

And a waltz through your empty bed.

"Why am I attracted to a person I know isn't good?"
"I happen to know the answer to that.
Because you're hoping you're wrong, and everytime she does something that tells you she's no good you ignore it, and everytime she comes through and surprises you she wins you over, and you lose that argument with yourself."

I suppose I saw it coming a mile away, but that doesn't mean it doesn't hurt all the same.
