Ahhh... Cottonwood.

I decided that it had been too long since I'd been down to the Cottonwood ranch. I really haven't been down there as much as I would like.

So, this past Sunday, I drug Jamie and Mom down there with me to take some pictures of the cabin and just hang out for a while. (I needed the two for both their company and their amazing photography skills.)
After we got a couple good pictures of the ranch house, Jamie and I graced the lens with our presence and I showed off my "guns".

I really just wanted pictures of the ranch, but Jamie can be pretty pursuasive with a camera in her hands and she insisted on trying to make me look good. (She did her best, but this is as good as I get.) I do like the old red fence though.

I returned the favor shortly after... and she a mom did a much better job. They made the token cottonwood tree look very nice!

After all the pictures were taken, (and the lawn mower had run out of gas after two quick sweeps around the house... aggh!) we did a little target shooting with my .22 (I would say that I was the best, but mom and Jamie are pretty steep competition.

Anyways... that's my ode to Cottonwood, one of the very best places on earth. (In my book).

Okay... so these aren't really new pictures they were taken back in May, but I'm a bit of a slacker on getting them posted.

My teammate, Alex Filiaga, took these of the 5 of us senior girls who were graduated and not coming back next year. =( She's a photography major and did a really good job)

I thought I should give a little shout out to Sariah while I'm doing this. She went to the Olympic trials in the steplechase and took 6th!!!

My other teammate Lyndsey Anderson (she graduated a year before us) took 2nd in the same race and is headed to Bejing in August! I've had the change to run with some pretty AMAZING girls!!!

I miss all my teammates like crazy and am so sad I don't get to see them all every day anymore. They made the past 4 years at Weber so much fun! Miss you girls!

Anyone for a dip?...

Here are some pictures of the pool I'm helping manage. (It's more like a miniature water park, than just a pool, but whatever.) Imagine this scene with about 20 times the amoutn of people around, and that's what I get to deal with every day! Jelous?.... Me nieither.

This picture is a little calmer. It was taken in the morning before the waves of people hit. (I do mean waves too... we've been having to have people wait to even get in because we hit our maximum occupancy so quickly EVERY DAY!!!) I like this time of day much better.

What I really want to get is some pictures of the kids I teach swimming lessons to. I teach the level one class with mainly 2-4 year olds. They are all so freaking cute!!! I was not looking forward to teaching at all, but it turns out I really really like it. (No one was more surprised than me.) I think it helps with my sanity that the classes are only 2 weeks long and only for about 30 min. a day.

I also want to get a picture up here of all my amazing lifeguards!!! They are so good and so much fun to work with. They really do make my job much more enjoyable!!! Hopefully photos of both those groups will be coming shortly!!! Stay tuned.

H2O and so much mo'!!!

Man... this week has been so CRAZY I can't even describe it. We finally opened up the pool that I am helping manage and it's been a complete and udder night mare so far. I've put in 61 hours last week and 13 this week and it's only MONDAY!!!! Anyways... I did manage to snake Amber's camera today while she and heather and some of the kids were there swimming so I can post them as soon as she gets them to me so ya'll can see where I'm spending all my freaking time!!!!
