My latest creation!

This is my latest creation! I took the whole "photo letters" fad to the next level. I went out and took the pictures of the letters in our last name and the made them into blocks so they could stand freely wherever. (I liked the idea of the photo letters, but I didn't like that they needed to be hung on a wall, so I jazzed 'em up a bit.)

I'm working on getting the whole alphabet so that I could make any word. I'm always in need of a project and this is the latest in the wonderful world of Sam. :)

All in a Day's Work.

I love my job some days. To be more specific... I love the crazy callers I get on occasion while I'm at work. You know the ones who you think must be on crack, but in a funny way? Well, I had one such caller @ work today. (Just... enjoy... and be glad it's not your job.)

*Note: All the office phones are LAND-LINES!

Caller: “Hi, I called earlier looking for ‘John Doe.’ And I just got a text from this number.
Me: (puzzled) “Um… ‘John’ hasn’t worked here for awhile, and as for the text… this is a land-line, so I’m not sure on that one. You must have written down the wrong number.”
Caller: “No.” (Silence)
Me: (a little annoyed) “I’m sorry, I don’t think I can help you with the text, but would you like to leave a message for someone else?”
Caller: “No thanks… I’ll just text you if one comes up.”
Me: (sigh) “Have a nice day.”

My favorite part is when she said she'd text me if a question came up. :) I love idiots.
