Slight Update.

Ok so, without Internet at our house my blog posting has sucked lately. So here is a little mini photo update on us.

We're all doing great and so glad that Levi is done for the semester and gets to be home for the rest of the month! (We won't talk about January and his having to go back... we'll just put the blinders on, smile and act like it's not happening.) :)

I just love the little baby sounds he makes. We're having so much fun... I really don't want to go back to work in October and miss those sounds all day long.

August 5, 2012. Such a fun day. Little Man looked so cute in his little blessing outfit. He was blessed by his daddy and mom couldn't be prouder. :)

Our favorite little get-away.

I talked Levi into a little get-away yesterday after church. ("talked into" isn't exactly accurate. He likes to go as much as I do, so it really was more of a suggestion.) I have had a crazy 2 weeks of work and being 7 months pregnant, I was ready for a little relaxation.  So we loaded up the truck with hotdogs, some .22's, bugspray, lounge chairs, and (of course) my camera, and headed up to Cottenwood!

I love this place. I love that it is so close yet, you feel so so far away from things. Like you're all alone from the world for a brief moment.  Of course, neither one of us can go to one of the ranches (Between both our families there are 4!), and not work a little bit. So we started out mowing the lawn.  It's a riding lawn mower, so I was actually able to help on this one and jumped on the chance to feel useful again. :)

After we were done cleaning up, we just sat in our lounge chairs and relaxed. And by relaxing I mean blasting the heck out of some old pop cans with the .22's, and read part of my book. Once we got a fire going with some good coals (don't bring up waiting for coals in our household, it's a constant battle), we roasted hot dogs, ate macaroni salad and just enjoyed being there.

So happy to have a little slice of heaven (Cottonwood) so close to our little slice of heaven (Kanab) :)
