We started on the back step...
The project was taken to the next level when Parker decide it would be more fun to soak the brush in water then squeeze the water onto the paper thus creating soaking wet purple paper.
We moved from the patio to the Crepe Myrtle tree (which has smooth bark perfect for painting). Since we were using water based paint I figured we couldn't really be hurting our tree friend (plus, the sprinklers cleaned up the job the next morning).
Slowing the painting progressed UP the tree...
Things REALLY got interesting when Parker took his clothes off! That's when the body painting began...
(The pictures are highly edited but they are hilarious. Our little Indians!).
Bailey and Fletcher are looking at Parker saying, "Are you really going to put paint in your hair?" Come on, it's Parker... of course he is!
Fletcher decides to join in on the fun...
And Bailey follows suit...
And, now for the faces...
Who needs a watchdog when you have these three running around the backyard!
You might be wondering about the clean up process... I turned my raincoat inside out to carry them to the shower then proceeded to hose off the backyard. Even now I still see remnants of paint which make my heart swell with joy. It was a crazy and wild afternoon. The stuff childhood is made of!
