Parker's New Smile

Parker has a new look! After a few months of an upper and bottom expander (to make room for his adult teeth) he now has braces. Dr. Symanowski makes going to the orthodontist a treat (points that can redeemed for prizes, video games, etc...). Plus, a stop off at Raley's for a gelato after each appointment makes getting out of school to visit the orthodontist's office a no brainer.

We stopped off at Daddy's office to show him Parker's new smile and have some celebratory frozen yogurt (shh, don't tell the ladies at school!). Our handsome boy looks so grown up!

Pet Sitting

The boys have taken a job pet-sitting and I must admit going over to play with Graham is the highlight of our day!

Newport Beach Fun

While Daddy was working hard for our family at his meetings we kept the beach company. It's pretty hard to beat Newport when it comes to California beaches. After a few visits we've found our favorite spots - right next to the life guard and in front of the restroom. We even know of a secret place to part near the house we rented last spring!

Few things are better than a day spent at the beach. There are always holes to dig, waves to jump, sand crabs to find and friends to make.

Flour Power

Parker is always experimenting with things and today he thought he's see what happened if you adding some air to flour. Actually, I'm not quite sure what he was measuring or hoping to accomplish but it sure was FUN!










p.s. I'm glad that I've learned to keep these experiments outside!
