The Georgia Kapics

The Georgia Kapics came to hang out in California for three whole weeks!!!

The kids LOVED having Uncle Kelly, Aunt Tab, Jonathan and Margot in town!







The party begin the morning after they flew in with Margot and Bailey making banana bread for all of us.

They also did some painting in the backyard...

and soccer with Uncle Kelly

Later in the day we migrated down to the river for some afternoon fun!

Or, I should say... two peas in a puddle!

Silly girls! Bailey wanted to dress just like Margot! Thankfully Margot is good with idol worship :)

We finished off the day with yummy smores!

SO awesome to have cousins around!

Father/Daughter Hiking Trip - Day 2 and 3

The nice morning was rise and shine early. The good thing for Danny is that there were a handful of girls on hand who were great at doing hair!

Because of the snow pack it was decided that the crew would camp in the same spot for both nights and just do a day hike on Saturday.

Danny said part of the hike was so steep that the Dad's positioned themselves on the trail and would leapfrog the girls up.

They all made it!

Father/Daughter Hiking Trip - Day 1

Danny and some of the guys from our Destroyers Soccer Team took their girls hiking in the Sierra Nevada's. Hence the reason I had such quality time with the boys over the weekend. This was Bailey's first hiking trip so she was over the moon excited to have this adventure with Daddy.

We're car campers so a backpacking trip was a bit of a change. Thank goodness for our friends Jaime and Ryder who loaned us their fancy REI gear because without it Danny would have needed to hike with a trailer!
