Our Mansfield Thiots
Our Sweet Becky has found something she enjoys doing and something that is very needed right now in Mansfield School District. Ricky said she could be busy every day of the week if she wanted to. They send out messages with job openings and you can respond and take the job the next day. She has enjoyed being in 2nd grade classrooms the very most. The children just love her and have told her that on many occasions. Harper is hoping she can come to her school one day. She would love that. The girls are back to class after a relaxing spring break.
Our Medford Granges
Spring break finally arrived in Medford. Jake took the three big amigos on an adventure. They went to an indoor water park in Salem Oregon and on the way home found some interesting things to visit. This is a Boy Scout monument. Our family loves Scouts and this was a special tribute to our Scouts.
Then they found a space museum that everyone loved. Those rocks are BIG
A restaurant that advertises being better than Grandma's really says a lot! I was glad Penny said she prefers my breakfasts!
When they got home, it was time for Oscar's 7th Birthday. What a fun robot party they planned for him.

Gracie loves playing the matching game. She's great at puzzles and loves solving them. She and Simon are doing great at potty training. They've also turned their cribs into toddler beds. No more diapers and no more cribs. Tatia's babies are growing up.
Our Folsom Thiots
I love this photo of our Keelie with her contacts in. Oh my goodness, you are gorgeous Miss Keelie! Charlie told his dad that he and two of the boys planned a bike hike on Saturday and they started out with gusto. By the end of the race, it was Charlie biking solo. Some bike troubles slowed the boys down but Charlie kept on going. Way to go Charlie! I hope our Lilly Jane is recovering from her surgery last week and that all is well in Folsom!
Our Orem Thiots
Adelaide has started her own company called Poppy's Pottery. This weekend at the Riverbend shopping plaza in Orem, she had her first show and we couldn't be more proud of her. She sold each of her pieces that she hand made. Pottery requires multiple steps and she loves every part of making her Poppy's pots. I'm happy to brag that Adelaide won a special award at the show for having so much enthusiasm in her product. You are remarkable Adelaide!!!!
This was the beginning of the show and sell and by the end, she had sold out and had to take costom orders.
Both of my sisters heard about it and Laurie brought three of her granddaughters to the show and they loved it too. They loved shopping the other booths too.
Laurie had seen Stacy's post on Instagram and knew all about it. She is a wonderful gram and loves Instagram and is always in the know. Thanks for sharing Laurie. Lani loved going along too.
Our Upstairs Thiots
Miss Elie has been smitten with the fishing bug. She loves her barbie fishing rod and is so good at casting out her line and rolling it right back in. She even had me film her making a fishing instruction video. I wish I could get it on the blog. She is amazing. You are the catch of the day Miss Elie!
When Elie turned one, we gifted her this fun bead and puzzle game. She loved it but as she grew wanted to re gift it to our babies in Medford. When we drove up, we took it with us and they have really enjoyed it too. It always makes me happy to think of how much our last three grandbabies have loved it.
We Plano ThiotsSkyler was at the Mavs game but Charlie made a fun graphic of us all in the potty room with his three cats too. Char made it look a little more fun that it really was.
Monday evening a storm came through north Texas that really put some fear in my heart. When the tordado siren's started screaming for everyone to get inside and into your safe room. Our home is not made for Texas storms. We have one room that doesn't have any windows or any outside walls. It's the room where our toilet is in the master bathroom. We always prayed that we wouldn't need to go there when our whole family was here.
Much funner that the tornado night, was the Gonzaga basketball game. Aunt Betty and her daughter Love watching basketball together. We are so grateful Betty is feeling good enough to enjoy the games again.
I loved turning on the game and watching with them for a little while. I love you Aunt Betty and your cute daughter!
My good friend Gemie invited me over for a day to learn to make sour dough bread. What fun we had and then she sent a loaf home for me to bake. Oops, I didn't quite get the setting on the oven correct and got a toasty brown color on my loaf.
Nobody complained. We gobbled up every single crumb. It was delicious. Thank you Gemie!
I've loved Come, Follow Me learning about Baby Moses being hidden in the bulrushes this week. I loved bringing him to Primary to share him with the Primary children. He belongs to Miss Elie along with a baby girl. She got those twins when our twins were born. A Simon and Gracie babies who turned into baby Moses today. Thanks for sharing Elie.
Saturday was our Stake Relief Society Conference. Sister Aburto came and spoke to 3 stakes of Relief Society Sisters. What a joy it was to be on the front row. Thanks for saving me seat Dick. He was in charge of all the technological set up. He and his team of helpers were magnificent at getting it to all work. I loved being there!
Dick had a flat tire this week, but fortunately it happened very close to home. Also fortunately we have a discount tire store within walking distance to our house. I'm glad to report, he is back in business driving on four fine tires again. It's been a good week. I hope yours have been good too. We are all looking forward to next weekend with General Conference Coming!
