In the last month....

I've been Conductor for FGAM's Children's Choir performance for the churchwide Easter Musical: Precious Treasure! And boy, was being a conductor hard work!!!! =) But I had fun....dressing up in a suit and all....so you can see me here...*points to far right of picture* hehe


I've also been Director for a small cast participating in the Churchwide Musical...I was in-charge of one particular scene....so here's my cast, minus David(who isn't in the picture) and Grace, who sang for me(thanks baby) and Kim(who isn't under me but is in the picture)...hehe...no doubt about it, being a director is hard work tooo!!! And yet....so much fun fun fun... =) Of course, I must say how proud I am of all my actors and even Grace! You guys did amazingly well! =D

It's a GIRL! I named her Tiffany. =) 'Cos she's pretty...hehhe... thank you Daddy!! s2 S2 S2 S2 S2 S2



Of course, this doesn't mean my older baby is dumped away. =) I still love him anyway....hehe...I'm just really happy I have Tiffany now too. This is mainly for my work-doing...so here comes Audrey the aspiring Writer! ;)

uni life?

Ahhh...due to popular demand ;) ....here's an update!

Weeeellll....the Grannies (minus Adrienne) had sleepover at my house last Friday!!! It was funnn... =) =)

Umm...well, we basically spent a lot of our time trying to wake Sarah up and keep her awake lol....we watched a total of 2 movies, as opposed to the goal of 5. LoL...stayed up and asked each other weird and random questions until about 5am? Yeah...then we went to sleep. Yeah...and I was awake about 8, but went back to sleep then woke up again and did that a few times before actually really getting up. It was pretty laid back, we had good fun (especially since Adrienne wasn't there ;) hehhe)...ahhh I love sleepovers!!!


Ummm uni uni uni uni....the last two weeks have been good...I'm enjoying uni life more and more, but at the same time...uni is just getting more hectic. We don't get as much work as Year 12s do...but for some reason there's just a lot to do!! And if I don't keep up...I'll just start falling behind...and then that's obviously not good. So...that's the hectic bit. I've also got a TON to read!!!! But I kinda like that. Eventhough half of the things I have to read are kinda boring and stuff, it's still waayy better than sitting down and solving math equations. Reading: is my homework. =) So I'm loving it.

Another upside: I meet a lot of people like me =) . I'm talking in terms of interests...so, I'm guessing most of you guys won't want to be in the middle of any of our conversations. LoL...it'll sound really book-club-ish haha....OOooorrrr completely intellectual. =) ;) =P


But still...no hotties. Well, I haven't personally met any hotties. LoL...but I see them all over the city. =D So it's good enough for me.

Ummm...nothing much interesting really...besides EASTER next weekend...and a one week break! Whee...I really want beach...I guess it's kinda good that the weather's still hot eventhough it's supposed to be autumn already....this means more time to go beach! Yay! =) =)

OoOh....of course there's a downside to uni. The travelling. Now, how do I put this? Ah yes... BLUECH! Is the word. I take an hour plus of travelling, first walking, then bus-ing then train-ing then tram-ing then more walking. IIiiisssshhhHHH..... definitely hate that. Which also means....when I have 9am lectures, I have to wake up sometimes between 6.30am and 7.00am to leave the house by 7.20 and get to uni sometime before 9am. =.=" I know...lame.

Another downside to city/uni: smokers. UGH....is the word. Bleh bleh bleh bleh bleh bleh bleh bleh bleh...are wordS. They're everywhere!!! Around Uni, around every corner...at the train station...and because I travel so much now, I meet them at bus stations and wherever I walk too. Gay! They...the smokers of course....bleh bleh bleh bleh bleh bleh....they not only ruin my life! The ruin my awesomely clean and nice hair....they ruin my face complexion! And make me feel gross all over. Bleh bleh bleh bleh bleh bleh bleh bleh bleh bleh bleh bleh....are wordS. UGH...to smokers... >.<...

This is an original screenplay written by our very own Executive Pastor Chris Ong! So....come come come!!! Our whole church is highly involved in the whole play, we've put a lot of effort into this....in some way or other, so just come!


Ahhh....ok ok....Besides just telling you I'm really enjoying Uni, or that I'm really loving my subjects...I'll share some more about my favourite subject: Creative Writing. We're learning free verse this week...with a small element of repetition and the effects of it. So here's one poem that really struck me...it speaks for itself, I need not say more than: enjoy!

Orientation

Okay...Okay...



LoL...I think I should just stop promising posts. Because recently, once I'm past the moment...I realise I don't feel like blogging anymore. But....I keep my promises. So here it is.



Orientation Day 1
Got to uni about 12pm, met my host group and host group leader. We've all been allocated groups to make friends with, get to know each other and take a thorough tour of the campus. My host group leader's name is Fiona, and she's a second-year student for Bachelor of Arts. She was really nice to all of us, and I got to know three exchange students from the U.S. and even one guy from Kuala Lumpur! Apparently, he stayed in Damansara before...then came here to do Trinity. He's a mix...so that was interesting for me to see a non-chinese-looking guy telling me he's from K.L. lol! Anyway...the tour was alright...but I think one good thing about it is that I met two girls who were my height! One was actually shorter than me, and the other's a ballroom dancer...so that was the cool part. And these girls...are not asian! Muahahaha....I felt good... =) =) =) The shorter girl is really cute...and she said that she's been told MANY times...that if she were 3 cm shorter, she'll be legally named: Midget!! So that was basically the fun part...getting to know people and stuff...



Orientation Day 2
Today, we had to attend a couple of lectures introducing us to our course, what books we need to buy and roughly what will be expected of us for the semester. It was good fun to see who was in the same classes..and that's when I was really happy to have met a few familiar faces, a bit more Asians...lol but at the same time....having a ton more Aussie classmates. Something I'm really trying to get used to.



Orientation Day 3
Went to school today to check out the clubs and societies...and realised...I'm mostly too lazy to do anything anyway, so I'd rather not waste any money. Therefore, I didn't join any clubs! Haha....I felt a bit anti-social this day...so yeah. I did check out the 'Malaysians of Melbourne University' club and 'Christian Union' though. Except, I couldn't find 'Chocolate Lovers' society..>.< MMmm...I bought a few of my books today too...but nothing major for the day.

Orientation Day 4
I wagged! =D...it's ok..I wasn't alone. A lot of people didn't go either, and it's not like we missed a lot anyway. Hehe...so...I'm looking forward to tomorrow! First class: Creative Writing!!!!!!!!!!!


However, I am...very very very very disappointed. I didn't meet any majorly hot guys in Uni. Whoever said there were hot guys in Uni???? LoL...anyways, I've got three more years to hunt down the hot guys, so let's see how that goes huh? ;)
