I had the opportunity to go to another Bijou Market this morning and it was great! My lovely friend Melanie and her baby Jacelyn came along and we had a blast! Here are a few things I picked up for our little lady:

Baby Love!

Our good friends Colby and Ashley (you may recognize them from here, here, here, or here) had their beautiful baby girl October 30 and we are so smitten! Here's a photo of the first time we met:

Her name is Lily Kate and she's gorgeous! We've pretty much spent every night at their house soaking up the baby love! We can't wait to have our own little muffin!

p.s. I know the bump is completely covered in this shot. I'll try to get some more belly photos up here as soon as I get some!

Cheers to procrastination!

Every year we end up finishing/coming up with our Halloween costumes at the last second. Every year we promise never again. Every year it happens all over again.

This year I planned it all out. We were going to have great costumes and it was going to be easy breezy and there would be zero stress involved. Not so. Life happened. Stress ensued. And yet, we lived through it.

It's crazy what you can come up with using a little creativity and some junk lying around your house. HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

I made a new best friend. I don't know her name, but she's an angel. Let this be a lesson to anyone who thinks that people don't care about compliments:

Last night Tyler and I were at the mall shopping for cute baby clothes. We were in Nordstrom looking at the adorable diaper bags when the sweetest shop girl came up to me and said, "I just have to say, you two are such a cute couple! You're going to have adorable kids!" I almost cried. Of course, I said thank you and she was on her way but I don't think I'll ever forget that compliment. Never underestimate how much a kind word can mean to someone! (p.s. every couple wants to hear that they are a "cute couple" and every single person likes to think they might make "adorable kids")

On a side note, I found the diaper bag I've been looking for! It's perfect!

TADAAA!

I'm Pregnant! I'm due March 17! We had our ultrasound yesterday and found out we're having a (drumroll) GIRL! We also found out that she looks healthy (ten fingers, ten toes, etc.) and she squirms like crazy! We are so thrilled and we can't wait to meet her! YAY!Profile of her head. Breathe

Fall is coming! I know I should be reminiscing about the summer being over and gone, but I, frankly, don't care. I love the fall. It's fresh and crisp and beautiful. The crispy leaves underfoot, the chill, the pumpkin hunts, the scarves, the cozy nights at home with a warm bowl of soup, and best of all, the air!!! Oh my goodness! The fall air is by far the greatest smell ever to exist! This morning I opened every window in the house and just breathed it in. Tyler asked, "what do you want to do today?" and I said, "if I could just sit and breathe this air all day I'd be happy."

...And I plan to.

Busted!

... or at least the window in my car is. I wish the guy who broke it to steal my GPS was! Dang criminal!

Whilst on our way to church on Sunday we arrived at the scene of the crime. I really wish I had taken pictures because it would really help this story.

For the last...forever I've been telling Tyler that he needs to put away his GPS at night because a hooligan may spot an opportunity and break in to steal it. Of course the hubs brushed it off. Then a few days ago (the ONE day I forget to put my GPS away) my car got broken into and my GPS got napped. Whose car is parked right next to mine??? Whose (much nicer) GPS is glowing in the window next to mine??? Of course this happened! This is my life and my luck.

At least Tyler is putting away his GPS now...ugh.

New Phones!

Hooray for shiny new things! Tyler and I have been desperately wanting Iphones for over a year now and our dreams finally came true. We got two new (to us) Iphones. Of course, I rushed to get all the fantastic camera "apps" and I've been tinkering with them ever since. Here are a few of the photos we took today at the park. I'm sure we'll have many more to follow.

The Wedding!

June 18th was a big day because my sister got hitched! I know, I know, I should've posted something a long time ago, but it's been pretty hectic and I haven't gotten any pictures. Well I still don't have the pro photos yet, but I dug up one that I can share for now.

The wedding was perfect and everything turned out great! How can you not love that dress, by the way?! I'm so happy for Dawnica and I'm thrilled to have such a great new brother in law!

Four

Four fantastic years (and 2 days) have gone by since Tyler and I got married. I would say that it's flown by, and it has, but mostly I think I forget that it hasn't always been like this. When I try and remember what it was like before I had Tyler in my life it just makes me cringe. Our lives were meant to be lived with a buddy, not alone. Marriage IS all it's cracked up to be and so much more. I can't believe that I was scared of marriage before we got hitched! What was I thinking?! Tyler is the only one who could convince me of the magic of marriage. He makes me excited to wake up in the morning and to hurry home after work so I can see his sweet smile and get another unbeatable hug. I'm more in love with him now than I was yesterday and less than I will be tomorrow. I still can't believe I get to spend forever with such an amazing man.

Camera Envy

I've been eyeing the Fuji Instax Instant Camera for a while now (ever since Urban Outfitters started carrying it in their store). I wanted a Polaroid, but I couldn't get past the price of Polaroid film so the Fuji 7S seems like the perfect compromise. This wish had been put on the shelf for a while because cash is hard to come by, but after seeing these great photos Taza from Rockstar Diaries posted on her blog, my lust for this camera came rushing back! Bah! I want it so bad!

Another Birthday! Yipee!

Our good friend, Colby celebrated the big 2-5 last night. Way to age buddy! Our friends must know how much we love PF Changs because they keep choosing it for their birthday dinners. Can I just tell you how unbearably excited I am about this movie?!

I loved the book, Eat Pray Love, and Elizabeth Gilbert has a wonderful gift. I've recommended it to everyone I know.

I heard they were making a movie and (although I'm no professional) I don't think the casting could be any better. Oh Julia Roberts, you are fabulous. I'm counting down the days.

Happy Easter!

This Easter was great. We spent most of the day watching conference, eating yummy food, and dying Easter eggs. We may not have kids, but we can still dye Easter eggs like champs. (Some of the Beauties)(Mr. and Mrs. EggFace. I made Edna. Tyler made Ernie.)

Now all we need to do is figure out what to do with 2 dozen hard boiled eggs...

Hike!

We went camping last weekend at Zion National Park and it was a blast! If you go to Zions you have to go on a few hikes. Since it was Tyler's first trip to Zions I had to take him to Angels Landing. For anyone who hasn't hiked Angels Landing, you should try it. It's pretty scary because you spend the last bit on a skinny ledge with nothing but a chain to hold on to, but it's worth it! Nature!

One year older and wiser too!

This weekend I celebrated another birthday! Yipee! My friend Ashley baked me this delicious cake for the special day. Funfetti, of course! Can you count the candles? (left to right: Dawnica, Me, Tyler, Ashley, Colby, and Logan)

We ate at Buca Di Beppo (my favorite). Chicken saltimbocca and fetuccine, Yum! Plus we couldn't leave without a Buca cupcake!

Happy Birthday Ashley!

My friend, Ashley had her 23rd birthday yesterday! We watched Valentine's Day, had a yummy dinner and played some Rock Band. The best part was that she had her birthday dinner at PF Changs.
