happy valentines day!

happy love day! we've been sick over here so we stayed home and spent our day eating strawberries and purple heart-shaped pancakes, making cards for daddy, reading "lovely" books, and giving loads of kisses. if the rest of my valentines days are as lovey dovey as this one i'll be a happy lady.

Ruby and Mae's valentines consisted of a few boxes of raisins (Ruby is obsessed. she chooses raisins over almost any other treat), a costco case of strawberries (which will be gone in less than 24 hours), and a few books. my picks were I Love You Through and Through, On the Night You Were Born, and The Pout Pout Fish. we read them before bed tonight and i think we got a few winners. if you're looking for some sweet books for littles, i would definitely recommend all three.
