We headed to Baltimore last Saturday to watch the Tigers and Orioles play ball.  We went with our friends, Neal & Katie.  The game was REALLY hot, and humid.  Whenever it is this hot and humid outside I always think that I have never been hotter in my life, it is hard to get used to!!  Our joke at the game was that it was going to go to the 15th inning....and it almost did!  The game ended in 13 innings....unfortunately not in the Tigers favor.  :(  The final score was 8 to 6.  They tied the game in the 9th inning, which made it more exciting...well as exciting as baseball can get.  But we had a lot fun, and were able to walk around the harbor before the game.  They have a really nice harbor, with a lot of shops, museums, restaurants, and who would have guessed.... we found another Ernst and Young!  They really are everywhere!  We walked around a little after the game as well, but after sitting outside all afternoon and being hot, sticky, and sweaty we were ready to go home.  It was a great way to spend our Saturday though!

Indepence Day

We celebrated the 4th with pool time, BBQ, and fireworks! What more could you want?

Luray Caverns

We headed to southwest Virginia last Monday to attend a wedding and check out some cool caves.  The wedding was in Crozet, which is a really small town, but it was a beautiful background for the ceremony.  We had just had a crazy thunderstorm with hurricane force winds that knocked out power to hundreds of thousands of people, and uprooted trees on the Friday night before.  We were half a mile away from the wedding when we came upon this, blocking our way:

We had to go all the way around and come in the opposite way!  It wasn't the only tree we saw down either!  The wedding was for a friend that Eric works with.  Unfortunately, we did not get our pic with the bride and groom, or even one of us! Sometimes, I'm just not good at taking pics....but here are some pics of the gorgeous location.  (Wish it wouldn't have been so hot and humid...still not used to it!)

We stayed the night in Harrisonburg, and then headed to Luray the next morning.  The Caverns were pretty cool.  It was an hour long tour with some pretty amazing stuff!  Oh, and did I mention that gas was only $2.99!  I can't remember the last time I saw it for that price!
