Sienna 3 Year Pics

This girl is both sassy and sweet, but a little more on the sassy side lately!  She loves the color pink, so we got everything pink for her pictures!  We took them on our land, and although it was really hot and humid; and lots of ants everywhere, they turned out super cute!  Love this girl!

I can't believe that this girl is growing up so fast!  The Dr. was really pleased with how she is growing.  He was happy that she is up in some higher percentages.  Everly did not like when anyone tried to touch her or look at her or give her shots.  But as soon as they weren't touching her and I was holding her she was happy.  She is very weary of other people still.  She is very much a momma's girl!  She loves to eat, but is kinda picky.  She loves bread (anything bread related), fruit/veggie packets, strawberries, peaches, broccoli, yogurt (only if it from a pouch), waffles/pancakes, chicken nuggets, mac and cheese, and pizza.  She doesn't like to eat cheese or cottage cheese, which is kinda weird, but she will eat grilled cheese sandwiches.  

She hasn't started eating with a fork or spoon yet, honestly I haven't even tried giving her one yet, but I should probably.  She loves snack time and will eat just about any kind of cracker that you give her!  So despite being a little picky, she still manages to get plenty of food.  When she does want to eat she will say Mmmm.  Ha!  It's pretty funny!

She's not saying a whole lot.  She pretty much only says momma.  She used to say dadda, but hasn't done it a lot lately.  She also isn't into learning where her nose, ears, eyes or mouth are.  So, like everything else, she just wants to do it on her own time.  I thought she was my most touchy feely baby, but I just read up on Sienna's 15 months, and it sounds like they were the same.  Everytime I am on the floor, she has to be all over me, or touching me somehow, which is exactly how Sienna was!  I totally forgot, good thing I have it written down!  

She has 4 teeth on top, 4 on bottom and 4 molars!  What a champ!  I was surprised when I felt in her mouth and she already had all 4 molars.  She likes to tease her brother and sister.  She will purposely get their toys and play with them, they will get mad and try to take them away.  Then she cries, so I don't really know why she likes to take them in the first place, but she does!  She does really well playing on her own.  She will just go around and get baskets out and play with things.  The whole house becomes a disaster zone, but she is happy!  She really loves to find the necklaces, bracelets, and purses.  She will put them all on and keep them on! 

She is finally starting to walk!!  She took some of her first steps all by herself on her 15th month birthday!  She is being cautious with walking, taking it slowly, but every day she tries a little more.  She loves walking around the strollers, and putting all sorts of toys, sippy cups, or whatever she can find in it.  

She loves her blankets and a little stuffed ballerina bunny that she got for Easter.  She loves to go outside and ride in the little car we have or in her stroller.  She likes to swing, but sometimes gets scared if it gets too high.  She likes playing at the pool as well, especially if Eric is there.  She only wants him in the water! (Of course, because he is the fun parent!)  

She is a pretty good sleeper.  Goes down anywhere from 7-8pm, depending on naps during the day.  She has always been an early riser, up around 6:30am.  Lately she's been falling back asleep before I go get her, so she's been sleeping until 8:30-9am.  Which is nice, because she needs it!  She takes a 2-3 hour nap in the afternoon as well.  She gets woken up by Sienna quite a bit, which is why I don't like my kids sharing a room, but it's all we have so we have to live with it!

She is pretty even tempered, when she gets mad, she just lays down on the floor, not even crying, just lays there.  Haha.  But she gets over it quickly!  She loves to dance to music when she hears it.  Isn't into watching shows.  And just has the best cheeks ever to kiss!  She is happy and we love her and are so happy that she is our baby girl!  

First Day of School

Sienna started her first day of Preschool!  She was pretty excited, and didn't cry at all when I dropped her off.  She was still all smiles when I picked her up.  It was such a fun day that she couldn't stay awake later, she fell asleep on the couch while watching a show!  She is in the Busy Bees preschool with Mrs. Tabatha Todd.  She goes T, TH from 9-11:30am.  They get to eat a snack at school and do lots of fun activities while learning letters, numbers, colors, and songs!  It's going to be a great year for her.

Camden started his second year of preschool!  He was a little mad that Sienna started the day before him, he just wanted it to be his turn first!  He has a bunch of buddies from last year in his class again, so he is happy.  He wasn't into getting his picture taken, it was painful for both of us!  He is in the Terrific Tadpoles preschool with Mrs. Tabatha Todd.  He goes MWF from 9am-1pm.  He gets to eat lunch at school this year!  They do a lot more writing and getting ready for Kindergarten this year.  He loves going and is excited to learn new things.  He is going to rock this year!

August Update

Found his Halloween costume....let's just hope he still wants to be this when Halloween is really here!

Spending a hot morning at the park!  They wanted to go so bad, even though it was so hot and the slides were too hot to go down!  They still had a blast!

We spent a lot of time at the pool in August!  These kids love the pool, and our ward does pool hops to different neighborhood pools, which we love!  This is one of our favorite pools, it even has a little splash pad!  It's so fun!

She will always put the necklaces around her neck if she finds them! She will also put the bracelets on her ankles and purse up on her shoulder.  She's pretty observant!  It's so cute!

We got to play on this fun slide for Kinsley's birthday!  Camden had a blast and didn't want to get off.  Sienna wouldn't even get in, but she had fun playing with Kinsley on her birthday!

More park and pool time!  We had our pool all to ourselves one morning.  I thought my kids would be mad about it, cause they like it when other people are there, but they had so much fun playing together!  Have to get in all of our pool days before school starts!

Soccer Camp

We signed Camden up for a week long soccer camp the end of July-first week of August.  It went from 8:30am-10am, so early enough that it wasn't too hot.  Although it was still really hot, and humid most of the mornings!  Camden had one of his buddies, Harry, from his soccer team there, which made it more fun for him.  He did pretty well, but there were times when he didn't really want to listen to the coaches and do the drills that they wanted him to.  He loved when they got to go play games though.  The camp wasn't run the best, there were way too many kids there for the amount of coaches they had, but it was still good to go and have something for Camden to look forward to.  I told him that when the camp was all the way over, on Friday, we would go get donuts to celebrate.  So you can bet that everyday he asked me if it was Friday!  Sienna, Everly, and I had fun siting on the sidelines watching him everyday.  Sienna would get bored pretty easily, but with snacks and the iPad, she did okay.  Now we are just looking forward to Fall soccer season starting in September!
