Blowing bubbles!

We spent most of our days at the pool in July!  We had to help out Jackie and Christian when they were out of town one week letting their dogs out.  So we would go over and swim for a couple of hours so their dogs could run around and be out.  I guess I didn't get any pictures when we were there!  But we also spent a lot of time at our pool in the neighborhood as well!  These kids would swim every day, they love it so much!  Most of the time, we would have the pool to ourselves, but it was always fun when others were there for the kids to have new friends to play with!  Sienna and Camden are always swimming all over the pool, jumping in and diving.  Everly is still very cautious and stays close to the stairs and me.  She is content playing with her barbies by herself!  I love summer days just lounging by the pool!

North Padre 2021

 July 9-10, 2021

The kids were having a sand castle competition.

We went to North Padre with Angie and her kids for about a day and a half.  It really didn't look like it was going to be great weather, kinda rainy, but it worked out and we had a blast!  We had just got back from Florida about 2 weeks before that, and the sand and water just really doesn't compare at all!  The kids didn't care at all.  They had a blast!  We took the girls beach pictures when we first got there so it could be done.  We spent one night there in a hotel, and then spent the next day playing at the beach again.  The tide was really high because of all of the storms we have been having, so we had even less beach area but the kids had a blast!  We had to stop at the shark store and get our picture before leaving!  Always a fun time at the beach!

July 4th

We had a bunch of rainbows after some rain showers!

We had a fun 4th of July weekend.  Since it was on a Sunday, we had our pool party on Saturday.  It wasn't the best weather day, we had a little rain, but it didn't stop the kids from playing in the pool!  It was also still really hot and humid.  We all got together and swam and ate and had fun together.  On Sunday we had Eric's mom over for dinner and some sparklers.  His dad was out of town in Michigan.  Then later that night we went over to her house to watch the fireworks.  She has a great view of multiple firework shows so it worked out perfectly!  Camden is not a fan of the big fireworks.  So he went inside and tried to go where he couldn't hear them.  I'm not sure why he doesn't like them, he used to love them when he was younger, but he just kept asking when we could leave.  The girls loved it and it was fun to watch the fireworks with them! The 4th of July is one of my most favorite holidays! I love making everyone wear red, white, and blue and taking pictures.  I'm just so grateful to live in this country and to be able to enjoy all the freedoms that we have!
