Sienna One Year!

Weight: 17 lbs 3 oz (3%)

Height:  28.75" (40%)

Head:  17.75" (50%)

And just like that, a year has gone by!  This sweet girl is a big one year old!  She is a big time momma's girl and gets jealous if Camden tries to steal some mom time.  She is a happy baby, but her personality is starting to come out and she can throw a fit like the best of them!  She loves Camden, but they don't get along perfectly.  She always wants what he has, and he likes to take away anything cool that she has.  He usually trades her with a toy, or part of a toy, that no one wants to play with.  I think we will have many, many more years of this.  

She loves her blankets.  She sucks on them for comfort.  She likes her baby dolls, Camden's cars, and anything that she can fit in her mouth.  She likes to get into my desk, the tupperware cabinet, and the DVDs.  She also got into my nail polish one day, and managed to get one all over herself and my carpet...ahhh!  After about 3 1/2 hours it came out of the carpet, mostly.  Lesson to myself, put everything like that up high, and hope she doesn't become a climber.  I'm going to have to watch her more closely!

She is still a great eater.  Mostly will eat anything I give her.  She's not really a fan of milk.  I keep trying to give it to her, but she's not interested.  I even made it chocolate milk, but no luck.  I'll have to keep trying!  She loves water, and if she sees anyone drinking some she will point to her cup and want it.  She has 4 teeth up top and 4 on bottom.  I think she is working on some molars though.  

She finally figured out how to stand up to things!  Yay!  She has started to take steps along the couch as well.  Fingers crossed that she figures out the walking part soon, crawling is so overrated! :)  

She claps all the time, and kinda does it in slow motion.  It's cute to watch.  She still sleeps like a champ through the night, and wants to take 2 naps in the day.  I tried to drop one nap, but it didn't go over well, so we are sticking to two for now.   She likes to be loud like her brother, and she babbles all the time.  She's our favorite little girl and we love her oh so much!  Happy Birthday, Sienna!

We had Sienna's party on her birthday.  We did dinner and cake!  She opened her presents from us, and Kenzie/Chelsey in the morning.  We gave her a water table, baby doll stroller, and little oven with food.  Camden thought all of the presents were for him.  He opened all of the presents and was excited for each of them! Ha!  Perks of having a sibling who would rather play with the wrapping paper!  The Rowley's and Hills gave her a cute little lego block set.  She likes to play with all of them...when she can get them away from Camden.  

Our dinner was roast beef sandwiches, pasta salad, fruit, veggies, chips and dip and of course, cake and ice cream.  She loved her cake, and I didn't really get a picture of her eating it, Angie was taking some, so I have to wait to get them back from her.  

She got a cute clock that sings from the Kinnisons, Little Mermaid bath toys from the Teachouts and two cute board books (Sophia and an animal one) and bath toys from the Clarks.  She also got some money from G&G Teachout and the other Clarks!

Michigan Part 4

We got to see the giraffes up close and personal!

While Eric was in Chicago we got to spend a lot of time with Grandma.  We went to the Binder Park Zoo, in Battle Creek, MI.  It was another fun zoo!  We had a really nice, pretty day.  Camden had a blast checking out all of the animals.  Sienna was really good, and was happy in her stroller.  This zoo was cool, it felt like you were in the woods the whole time.

Michigan was a lot of fun.  We got to do a lot of fun things, visited with Eric's grandma a couple of times, (which I forgot to get a picture with her...I am so mad now!) and Camden loved spending time with his Grandma and Grandpa.  They also have a cat, peaches, that he loved to chase around and torment.  Sienna wasn't as happy to spend time with Grandma and Grandpa, unfortunately.  She was pretty attached to me the whole time, but by the last day she was doing better.  They both did really well sleeping at night, even being in the same room.  The flight home was really nice.  We each had our own row, I was behind Eric.  I was able to bring Sienna's car seat on the plane, and was able to stick her in it after feeding her so she could sleep.  It was nice to get away, but it was nice to come home!
