2 Months

Camden is 2 months old!  We went to the dr. for his 2 month check-up and shots on Dec. 12th, right before we left Virginia to move to Texas!  His stats:

Weight: 11 lbs 1 oz (25%)

Height:  23" (25-50%)

Head Cir.: 15" (25%) 

He is growing and getting so big each day!  He had to get 4 shots and did so good!  He cried of course, but got over it really quickly and didn't have any issues after either.  They made him really sleepy and he pretty much slept for the rest of the afternoon and night.  He is getting so good at holding his head up by himself, we are still working on it and having tummy time each day to help him.  He is becoming very smiley and it is so fun to see him actually smile at us and know that it isn't just because he has gas. He is getting really close to giggling and coos at us quite a bit.  It is so cute!  I love that he is getting more and more interactive each day.  It's so fun to watch him grow and learn new things.  He is sleeping about 4-5 hours each night, wakes up, eats, and then goes back to sleep for at least 2-3 more hours.  It's been great for me, but I can't wait until he sleeps 7 hours straight…that will be amazing!  He has slept for 6 hours a couple of times, but 4-5 is more consistent.  We love this little guy, he brings so much joy and happiness to our family!

 We spent Thanksgiving in Michigan this year.  We were there for about a week and a half.  We drove with our friends, Neal and Katie, because they were going to the Notre Dame/BYU game and Eric was going with his dad.  Camden did really well in the car.  He slept most of the way, we only had to stop twice to feed him.  It was a good test to see how he would do in the car, since we will be moving in about a week and we will have 3 days straight of driving in the car!  Hopefully he will be just as good! We had a fun week of hanging out with family and friends.  Camden was able to meet his grandparents, great grandparents, and Eric's brothers family.  One of Eric's best friends had their baby while we were there, and it was so fun to see her!  Berkely was born on the day after Thanksgiving.  She looked so tiny compared to Camden, I guess he is growing!

We stopped in Kirtland on our way back.  It was neat to go through the Newel K. Whitney store and home and be in the same room as the Prophet!  We didn't have a lot of time to spend there, and we weren't able to go through the Kirtland temple because it was closed that day.  But it was still nice to see it.  The visitors center at the Newel K. Whitney store had over 600 nativity displayed for the season, which was really cool!  We had a really great time on our trip, I'm glad that we were able to go.  Only a little more than a week and we will be on our way to Texas!
