Funny how things happen. I spoke with my mom this afternoon and when I got home I spotted this beautiful butterfly in my front yard. It seems like every time I think or speak about my grandma I come across a butterfly. Mom says that my grandma came back as one...Coincidence or not?
Andrew is sick. Last night didn't go too well..he was up for most of the night coughing and crying. Took him to the pedi first thing this morning, just a nasty sinus infection. He sounds horrible when he coughs, I feel so bad for him. He does get to spend the entire day with me, as I'm working from home. He's sleeping now so hopefully he'll feel a little better when he wakes up?

Here are the boys this time last year...9 months old. I remember this photo shoot, it consisted of Craig and I both running back and forth trying to help the boys stand holding onto the blocks or replacing them on the floor so they didn't crawl out of the picture. I was sweating by the time the shoot was finished.

I just loved their little jeans..we went out that morning and bought them since my original outfit didn't work out. The boys wore those jeans for about 6 months before they got too small. I miss my little, bald babies.

Today was absolutely beautiful...slight breeze, super sunny, but not too hot...perfect evening to take the boys to the park. We decided to try for a picnic dinner, but the swarming bees had other plans. We enjoyed the park, but dinner was a bust. This was the first time ever Ethan enjoyed the swing (see below wearing daddy's hat). he actually liked the swing, there's hope after all. We came home and the boys went straight to bed...the park really wears them (and us) out.
Boy am I glad the party planning is over and I don't have to keep anything a surprise anymore. I'm horrible at keeping a secret. Craig came home from work early yesterday so it was a little harder to pull everything off. I'm pretty sure he knew something was going on, but not exactly sure. I had about 7 of his close friends meet at the house for some pizza and beer and then off they went to the Braves game and who knows where else. I got a few texts throughout the night saying "thanks, I'm having a great time" that made me feel good. Craig was dragging this morning, but kept talking about how much fun he had. Happy Birthday Craig!
I wanted to post a few pictures from this morning, the boys were having a ball with the left over balloons from daddy's birthday. Craig and I have noticed a huge difference in the boys since they started their new school/daycare...they are much happier and less whinny. Structure seems to be a good fit for the boys. I'm so glad we switched them.

Here's the birthday boy on his 30th birthday. With a little persuasion and a few kisses I got Craig to take a picture in front of his yard sign. He loved every second, even though he'll never admit that. We picked the boys up and had a yummy dinner at a local Mexican restaurant, nothing better than chips and salsa.

ok, well I'm exhausted and going to bed...boy am I glad its Friday tomorrow.
can you just picture cookie monster saying that, I can. Craig got an early birthday gift from his parents over the weekend. They bought him the Kitchen Aid Professional 600 series mixer. Craig is the cook of the family and just couldn't wait to try his new mixer out. Tonight he made homemade chocolate chip cookies and the boys and I enjoyed one ok a few straight out of the oven. Yummy...or as cookie monster says "me love cookie"
Here are the boys enjoying a fresh, hot cookie...we took it outside and boy I'm glad we did, those were some messy cookies! Don't worry boys there are plenty of cookies left over :)

with Craig's upcoming 30th birthday next week we thought a day at the Georgia Aquarium would be fun. We loaded the kids up and headed on out. Craig's parents joined us for the day, thanks for coming...hope you both had a great time. I know we did!
The boys were amazed with all the fish. We saw beluga whales, sharks and so much more. We bought season passes so we can go back and enjoy more of the creatures under the sea. I can't wait to go back :)
Well Craig's team lost, but it was still a good game and I actually got a few half way decent picture of the boys...so I just had to share! Happy Saturday night!
