Gulp, I’m 30!

June 30, 1981 at 7:30 in the am my wonderful parents welcomed into this world a beautiful, cone head little girl named Katie Jeanne Cash. I am forever grateful for the path that destiny took to unity my parents and then the even higher power that allowed them to get pregnant with me. My life is full of so many wonderful people and I feel so blessed to walk this life and have my husband and two precious twin boys! Life is really good and I can’t wait to see what my 30’s have in store for me!

I heart my neighbors!

We were so fortunate when our neighbors moved in and even more thankful that we have made life long friends! Jennifer and Matt and the boys we love ya’ll and appreciate all you do for us. A + E adore your boys and we think they are pretty darn special too. From Father’s day weekend that my sister in law took of her husband, Brian, my niece Natalie, my father in law and the boys and Craig. I just love it. They went to a Braves game to celebrate Father’s day!

Who has a BIG mouth?

that would be Ethan..these boys made me laugh so hard this afternoon. I was using the blower to clean off the back patio when Ethan begged me to allow him to stick his little face right in front of the blower. The picture is priceless and what you don’t see is all the spit going everywhere. Only for my boys, cause I love them so much!

That’s right, Wednesday night we were taken back to 1989 at the New Kids On The Block and Back Street Boys Concert! Christy and I had a blast, seriously the best show I’ve seen in a really long time. We jammed out to all the old hits and thoroughly enjoyed every second. We felt like little kids for just one night!

For those who have never seen my kids in person, do you think they look identical? We found out last Christmas through DNA testing that they are certainly identical, but I always wonder what other people think? As their mom I think they look NOTHING alike, but I know that is because I see them all the time and I can point out their differences in personality and outward appearance. Just curious if anyone can tell the difference?

Can you tell the difference? and who is who? hehe, I know that is probably impossible for most.

Disney, Day 5

Started off with a FUN character breakfast with Minnie Mouse, Goofy, and Donald Duck. After eating we headed over to The Magic Kingdom, hands down the boys favorite park. It was the hottest day we had, but that didn’t get up down and once again we closed the park down. Andrew and Ethan were such brave boys, they rode all the big kid rides and ended the night riding space mountain, which is an intense indoor/pitch black roller coaster. So proud of our big boys and how they were ready to ride everything! They are still talking about Disney today and all the ‘awesome’ rides and how much they want to go back. Me too boys, me too!

Playing catch up

I thought my life was crazy during school, but these past few weeks have flown by. Last Thursday I left with 3 wonderful friends for Destin, Florida. My big 30 is coming up..EEKKK and I've always wanted to take a girls trip somewhere to celebrate. We had some great laughs, relaxing time on the beach and some fun conversations. Why do vacations go by so fast?? Speaking of vacations I am still working on posting the rest of our Disney trip.

Over the next month and a half I have a HUGE to do list for around the house, I want to organize our office into a practical working room and clean/organize a few closets and cabinets before school starts in August. The boys and I have spent almost everyday at the pool, they are so tan and I love how the sun lightens up their hair. They are swimming so awesome, Andrew amazed me the other day when he swam half way across the pool and even came up for 2 quick breaths. Loving our summer time together, another plus to becoming a teacher!!

Pool time with Paw-Paw and Maw-Maw

We have spent so much time in our bathing suits this summer and we are loving it. The boys blonde hair and tans lines can prove how much time we have spent at our neighborhood pool, gym pool and this past weekend at my parents pool in their neighborhood. I had a funny conversation trying to explain to the boys that my parents pool was in their neighborhood like ours is. Andrew kept asking me if their pool was in the front or back yard. I told the boys my parents pool has a cool kids water area and slide and once again the boys were amazed maw-maw and paw-paw had a slide in their yard. It didn’t truly set in till we arrived at the pool. Upon arrival we heard some thunder and had to wait out the weather. The boys were super patient, I was really amazed! The wait was worth it and never less the boys spent 2 hours playing, swimming and repeatedly going down the ‘big kid’ slide as a + e call it. What a fun Sunday spent with my parents and the boys. We ended the night with a yummy dinner and walking the golf course checking out the firefly's! Thanks mom and dad for a great afternoon and dinner!!

Today we spent a little time at Hollywood Studios, and returned back to the resort for naps. We rode the toy story mania ride which is a hoot, then stood in line to meet Buzz and Woody, definitely the highlight of the trip for a + e.

After naps we headed out to another character meal with Cinderella, Prince Charming and Cinderella’s step mom and step sisters at 1900 park fare at Disney's grand Floridian resort.
