25 Days of Christmas: Day 23 – 25

I love Christmas, I just don’t love how fast everything goes by. I haven’t had much time to blog about the last few days. We always spend Christmas Eve with my parents and family and Christmas day with Craig’s family. This year was a great Christmas. We are very blessed to have our families and friends.

Day 23

We celebrated Callie’s (our 8 year old miniature schnauzer) Birthday and finished wrapping presents.

Day 24

Christmas Eve with yummy food, and even better company at my parents house

Day 25

Merry Christmas! Opened presents with the boys in the am and then headed over to Craig’s parents house around 2pm.

The kids had a blast opening their presents and the boys loved their new geo-tracks.

     Christmas shopping + Christmas Tree Ornament

Day 21

Monday Craig and I spent all day out looking for a new car. Our Jeep is coming up due on its lease so it was time to start looking. We didn’t look very long, because Craig found exactly what he was looking for in one day. So early Merry Christmas to my husband…he is now the proud owner of a Toyota Tundra!

Day 22

The boys have something special in store for these Christmas Trees..shhh, we don’t want to ruin their surprise!

 

{25 Days of Christmas: Day 20}

     Hot Chocolate

First off I want to wish my dad a very Happy Birthday. Today he turns 56 :) We hope you had a great birthday. We love you VERY much paw-paw.

I wanted the boys to try Hot Chocolate tonight, but they weren’t really into drinking it, though they loved dropping the marshmallows in.

{25 Days of Christmas: Day 17 +18}

     Jingle Jam Concert + The Polar Express

Day 17

Last night I went with a friend to the Star 94 Jingle Jam Concert. It was SO much fun, we saw The Fray, Jordin Sparks, Leona Lewis, Owl City, Cobra Starship, and Justin Bieber.

Day 18

The boys watched The Polar Express tonight for the first time. I told them the movie was about Choo-Choo trains and Santa Clause. I adore this movie, not to mention I love Tom Hanks.

{25 Days of Christmas: Day 16}

          Carriage Rides/Santa Clause

The boys and I met up with Aunt Heather and Natalie at the Avenues at West Cobb tonight to ride the Horse and Carriage and visit Santa. It was cold, but a lot of fun. The kids loved the ride!

    

25 Days of Christmas: Day 14 + 15

     New Book + Pink Pig

Day 14

The boys got a new book for their birthday this year titled: “If you give a pig a party”. I bought it from Kohl’s (a local store in our area) and the coolest part is all the net profit from the sale of the books are donated to support children’s health and education initiatives nationwide.

Day 15

We met some good friends at Macy's Lenox Square to ride the Pink Pig. Since 1953, the Pink Pig has been delighting generations of Atlantans. You ride Priscilla the Pink Pig on train tracks through a life-sized storybook featuring Priscilla and her friends.

Andrew was too scared to ride, but Ethan was more than happy to ride. Thanks Christy for watching Andrew as we rode the Pink Pig!

{25 Days of Christmas: Day 13}

       Play a board game

This is something I enjoyed doing as a young girl and I hope my boys have has much fun playing board games as I did. The boys received a few games for their birthday and today they wanted to play Candy Land.

{25 Days of Christmas: Day 12}

     Christmas Party

Tonight we visited with great friends and enjoyed a yummy dinner. Thank you Grunden’s for hosting your fabulous Christmas Party. I forgot my camera so no pictures tonight. On a side bar boys are doing sooooo good with potty training that I almost hate to say anything…I hope this doesn’t jinx us. We had a late night partying, Craig and I are hoping the boys sleep in…hehe. We can wish, right??

{25 Days of Christmas: Day 11}

     Gingerbread cookies

We visited my friend Tiffany today and her adorable twin boys. Tiffany set up a cookie decorating picnic table so the boys could decorate their own gingerbread men. The boys had a blast decorating their cookies.

{25 Days of Christmas: Day 10}

      Christmas Tree Cakes

Who doesn’t love Little Debbie snack cakes, yummy! Craig and I love their Christmas Tree Cakes and today the boys had their first taste. Andrew really enjoyed his, Ethan only ate a few bites and gave me the rest :)

{25 Days of Christmas: Day 9}

      Jingle Bells

The boys learned Jingle Bells with my mom about a week ago. Here they are singing the same line over and over again. They don’t have the words down exactly, but they sure are CUTE singing it!

      Portable North Pole

Tonight the boys watched Santa Clause from his Portable North Pole location. ( http://portablenorthpole.tv) Andrew went first and then Ethan. Santa pulled out his big book of naughty and nice kids to see if the boys were good this year and they were :) He then talked to them about their favorite toy and what they wanted for Christmas.

Ethan was super excited when Santa said his name :)
