 after the race- I knew that I definitely will not be running a half marathon anytime soon. The race was not bad, but I think 6.2 miles is plenty far for me.

 One afternoon Jocelyn decided we needed to go on a treasure hunt. She drew a map and led us to find our "treasure"

Ones she had Jocelyns underwear on, she was ready to watch her movie. 

Summer Lovin'

We live for the sun around here. I am so sad that it is already July. We have been taking advantage of every warm moment here. Swimming, splash pads, tea parties, hiking. Its been a great summer so far. I look forward to the rest.

19 Months

I was looking back at some posts about Jocelyn around this age and I had so much fun reading them, I realized I need to keep doing that for Calli too.

Calli is now around 19 months. She has remained our little mellow baby minus the last two-three months. From late February to about a week ago..she was miserable. Sickness then cutting 6 teeth (including molars) and breaking out in cold sores and getting sick as a result of the teething were not grand. For any of us. But she is back! Our happy baby is back!

She has grown so much. Right after she started feeling better she exploded with words. Book, swing, Joci, Brook (the little girl I watch sometimes), play, movie, milk, horsey, meow, doggy, this, that...and so many more. She just talks and talks.

She loves to watch "The Aristocats" she calls it "eeaowww" (meow) and "Monsters University". This became her comfort when she was so sick.

She loves her blanket and her pacifier and calls them her "Nigh nigh"

She loves playing outside.

She loves food. Especailly sweets. She calls food nummy.

Oh how I love our little Calli Bean.

Sally Bear

This has been a looonnnnggg time coming. But,  here are some pictures of when we finally said goodbye to the "bozzy". We tried everything, the binky fairy..giving them to santa for babies who need them...nothing worked. This girl was an addict and did not want to give it up. I finally made a deal with her. If she could go to sleep for three nights without crying, she could go to Build A Bear. It took a little over a week, but she finally did it! And now.....its almost a year after haha. Our beautiful big girl still loves her special bear that she named Sally. 

August 2013

August was full of playing in the sun, running through sprinklers, dress up, running and friends. Can it be August again yet? Or maybe July...then fall won't be right around the corner.
