Over Memorial Day weekend Cory was invited to do a wounded warrior turkey hunt. As hunting is his new obsession, he gladly accepted the invite. We thought we would make a family trip out of it. So we all hopped into the car and drove to Cedar City. The first two days we were in a hotel and spent some time at the splash pad in St. George, but Cory did not get a turkey as quickly as he thought he would. Luckily, the guide who was helping him was kind enough to let us stay at their house. Jocelyn quickly made his family hers. They took her to catch fish and tadpoles in the river on their property and she read books and played and did not want to leave when it was time.
