Little Lady Bug

Brynn has been to two birthday parties in the last month for friends in the ward turning three. Megan's party theme was "lady bug." They has a hunt for lady bug eggs, decorated bags with bug stickers, made this cute lady bug hat, and had bug treats with lunch. It was a lot of fun and very well organized. It helped that her mother is a kindergarten teacher.

The other party was a volcano party for Ciel. Brynn made a volcano erupt, played with lots of balloons, played pin the ash on the volcano, and musical chairs(she hated this one). They had a real erupting volcano cake that was eatable. Very fun and creative also.

Ready for church

Just because she is the cutest here, I could not resist taking her picture. At church, I had so many comments on how cute she is.

I took a picture of all the kids when we were ready for church. Spencer was not too happy--he got the pacifier instead of screaming. All my boys are handsome, but didn't want anymore pictures. Braden said "enough mom."

Aquadoodle Fun

Brynn colors on her Aquadoodle tons. This is the gift that mom and dad gave her for her second birthday. She love to draw.

Karson and Braden love coloring on it also. Karson is here with Spencer watching as they color and have fun. This gift has been worth every penny. It is easy to use, clean, and indestructible.

Strong Spencer

This is Spencer sitting up at 4 1/2 months old. He is picking up toys and eating tasting them as all babies do. He is very strong as you can see. Spencer wants nothing to do with rolling over, but sits up great.

Dad's famous trick. All of our kids have successfully been able to balance on dad's hand. Spencer and dad are both smiling and Spencer is showing off his muscles. We sure enjoy him in our family.

Making Potions

Braden, Mason, Karson, and Brynn making potions. This is particularly fun for the boys, however, Brynn has no fear and joins the fun. This potion has water, rocks, dirt, wood shavings, and bugs. Each of them have a stirring stick and are showing the potion to you all.

A side note, this is a dress that my sweet little Brynn wore for one of her "princess days." You will notice the bloomers on, flower leggins on and the skirt off. Oh well, she is still a cutie pie.

"I a princess"

My sweet little Brynn decided this last week that she is a princess. I went in to get her dressed for the day and gave her a pair of pants and a shirt. She kindly went to the closet and picked this Hawaiian dress off the shelf and said "I a princess." How can I not let her wear it? So, with a big smile I put on her dress and did her hair just like a princess should have it. This continued for three days--she had to have a dress on and she kept saying that she was a "princess."
Heavenly Father must have known that I needed my sweet little girl amidst my rough boys. Brynn definitely has her rough moments, but she still shows her princess side which is so fun for me (mommy).

First Paper Route

The boys enjoyed their first real job for two weeks. Our friends left town for a big vacation and they deliver the Clipper on Tuesday's and Thursday's around our neighborhood. We substituted with the route during their vacation. What a job. Braden said that "the papers are the hardest job he ever had!" Karson says that "their shouldn't be so much."

They worked so hard to get the papers done. Mom and Dad worked really hard also. Thursday's were the worst because we have the Clipper to those home who pay money and then we deliver the Extra to all other homes. We had a map, but it still took 3 hours on Thursday to finish. Gas alone took up the income, but the kids don't understand that. Paper count was around 300 on Thursday's and approx 115 on Tuesday's. We are now finished with this job and the kids earned a whopping $20 each. Hopefully they learned that hard work pays off!!

Easter Weekend

We had a fun Easter Weekend. On Friday, they Young's came and we had lunch at Aunt Jodi's place and then went swimming at the Rec. center. It was very crowded--due to spring break for the schools--but I think that the kids had a little bit of fun. We then had dinner at our house and had the Easter bunny come and we had a lot of fun watching the kids gather, count, and find surprises in their eggs.

On Saturday, we took a nice drive down to the Middleton's new home. We enjoyed our visit their and the kids had fun playing in the back yard filled with a lot of dirt!! All-in-all it was a fun visit. Thanks everyone!!

First Pony Tails

Here is my cute Brynn showing off her first pony tails. The hair spray works for a couple of hours, or until Brynn lays down on her hair. Anyway, mom is definitely excited to have her hair growing.

Early Easter

We got together April 1, 2007 at Gpa & Gma Roundy's because next week is not so good for any of us. We all have other family commitments. Anyway, we enjoyed great spring weather and had a little easter egg hunt.

Knolls--More Sand Fun

What a fun trip--enjoy these pictures.


Grandma did a lot of riding. McKenzie who was terrified of 4-wheelers last year would hardly even get off. Even if she was not riding, she had to sit there until someone would give her a ride. Grandma also took a big fall in the mud. I don't know details, but do know that she flew over the handle bars and has a big bruise. She is doing just fine.


Braden and his friend Mason Gough. The Gough's came out for a couple of hours and we enjoyed having them come. Mason and Bailey had a great time on the little blue 4-wheeler. It would surprise me if their parents do not eventually get them one even though Mason crashed on it.

Spencer's first ride

Grandma and Grandpa love to ride. The are naturals. Tyler and I are grateful that they are willing to come and have fun. It is hard to get grandma to let go of her cleaning for a day, but now that she has gone riding, I know she will come again. We love you Grandma and Grandpa!

REES'S+SAND+SORENSON'S+SUN=FUN

The Sorenson's invited us out to the Knolls four-wheeling with them on the 17th. We couldn't pass up the fun! We loaded up the four-wheelers, toys, food and had great fun with record breaking weather for the weekend. We slept the night in the Sorenson's Toy hauler and had fun for another day also. We invited Gma and Gpa Roundy out and they came and had an enjoyable time also. I am sure that they will come again!! Enjoy a few fun pictures!
