Wednesday morning it was hard to get up. We had bought orange shirts for everyone to wear one day, and this was it. Amy still wasn't back to 100%, and we had to coerce her to take the ibuprofen before we went down to breakfast. Her spots started to appear. We ate quickly and still made the 7:15 shuttle. Aaron took a few pictures on our way from the shuttle to the park.

Amy had liked being in the stroller the day before and was not happy that Melanie had reclaimed her seat. We decided to try a few rides we hadn't done before. So we wandered over to New Orleans Square. We started with Pirates of the Caribbean since it doesn't have a fast pass. Everyone could ride, so we all went together. Amy wasn't happy about that, but we enjoyed the ride. Although Timothy needed to go to the bathroom despite going before we went down for breakfast. Maybe it was the huge cup of hot chocolate. We hadn't done the Haunted Mansion yet either. So Aaron ran ahead to get fast passes for Splash Mountain and then jumped on The Haunted Mansion. I tried to get on with Amy and Melanie, but Amy freaked out, so we waited out side the ride. Aaron had grabbed a rider switch pass, but we didn't really need it. Timothy and I went while Aaron and the rest waited. They put sun screen on in the meantime.
Our fast passes were about 30 minutes away, so we went over to Fantasyland and found a few rides. Timothy wanted to do Pinocchio's Daring Journey, so we did that, and then got in line for Mr. Toads' Wild Ride. Timothy had to use the bathroom again, and Amy didn't want to ride, so we found a bathroom While Aaron took David and Melanie on the ride. We saw the line to see Elsa and Anna from Frozen and it was already 2 hours long (I've seen it as long as 4 hours)! I was glad Amy didn't want to wait in line to see any of the princesses. We saw Peter Pan jump into the crowd from out of no where, and then Alice and the Mad Hatter appeared too. I only got a picture of Alice though.
By the time we were done with the bathroom Aaron was done with the ride. So Timothy and I jumped in line, but after 5 minutes the ride shut down, so we never rode it. It was time for Splash Mountain. I took David and Timothy first. They asked us to take a lanyard up with us to record the actual wait time for the Fast Pass. Since I had given my phone to Aaron I didn't get to take any pictures. I had forgotten how long the ride was. I kept thinking you just go up to the top and drop down, but there is the whole Braer Rabbit story inside. We got wet, but not too wet. By the time we were done Melanie had fallen asleep. It wasn't even 10:00 yet!
While we waited for Aaron and David to ride, I got sunblock on Timothy and me.

Then we decided to take a look around Toon Town. Aaron and David picked up Fast Passes for Star Tours and met us over there.
Amy finally perked up and loved wandering around Toon Town. Melanie woke up and wanted to wander around too.

Then Aaron and the boys went on Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin. I took the girls into Mickey's House. They liked climbing on things, but didn't want to actually meet Mickey.
Then we played on Chip and Dale's Tree house. Melanie was getting hungry so we met up with Aaron and had some trail mix. Then David, Timothy and I rode Gaget's Go Coaster. Amy really wanted to go back to the ball in Tomorrowland. So Aaron took the boys on Star Tours and I played with the girls at the ball.
It was getting close to noon and the Redd's Rocket Pizza Port was getting busy. So as soon as the boys were done with the ride we went inside to eat some lunch. We ordered a large pizza, and drank the juice and water we brought.
As we looked at the receipt from the pizza it had a 20% off coupon for the a few stores. David wanted to buy his build-your-own light saber (Timothy made one on Monday) and Aaron was looking for something to bring back for people at work. So after lunch we headed over to the store. Amy, Melanie and I sat down while the boys shopped. When they were done we found out that Mickey's Magical Map was just starting, and Amy wanted to see it, so we parked the stroller and walked over.

These guys actually had a big ball that they put over their heads and used as a prop with them inside of it - interesting.
Then I forced everyone to ride on It's a Small World. But I didn't get any pictures. I was too busy trying to keep Melanie in her seat. She didn't want to sit down for more than 30 seconds. We looked at the shops for a few minutes and then went on to the next thing. We took the raft over to Tom Sawyer's Island. The kids had fun exploring, and trying out the pump.
The girls were actually having a lot of fun. And didn't want to leave when it was time to go. But we had different plans for that evening. We decided to take advantage of the pool back at the hotel, so we found our way back to the shuttle. I accidentally left the backpack on the shuttle, but luckily someone saw it and the driver called out to us. At first Amy didn't want to go, so I was going to stay upstairs with the girls, but then I convinced her there was a kiddie pool, so she agreed. We all went down to the pool, and then Amy said it was too cold, and wanted to go back up to the room. I told her she would have to wait until we were done. And then Melanie had a messy diaper, and I had to take her upstairs. I only had one swim diaper left, so we were done with the pool. I got Amy, Melanie and myself dressed and we waited for the boys. We took advantage of the dinner served at the hotel. That night they had fried chicken and mashed potatoes. Melanie had taken a nap from 10:00- 10:45, so by the time we got to dinner she was worn out. She fell asleep right there at the dinner table.
So Aaron held her until we were done. Then we went up to the room, and Aaron and the boys got ready to head back to the park. The girls and I were staying to pack, clean up and watch
Frozen. Nathan had texted us earlier to let us know that two of their kids were now sick. :( So in the midst of packing we decided to stay one more night, instead of going back to Nathan and Amy's place. I checked for other hotels near the airport, but they were either too expensive, didn't have rooms for 6 people or were really sketchy. Luckily we could stay in our room one more night for the same rate we had before.
I continued to cleanup, pack and let the girls watch their movie. They got to bed a little after 8:00, and even with her late nap Melanie didn't take long to fall asleep. I stayed a little while longer to finish making lunches, and clean up. I played around on my kindle before calling it a night, before 10:00 pm.
Meanwhile Aaron and the boys went back to Disneyland. They rode the monorail over to Downtown Disney to check out the LEGO store again. Timothy bought a LEGO technic kit. They also looked at the Disney Emporium store. Aaron was trying to find a stuffed Olaf for Amy. Apparently they are in high demand, and they usually sell out without a few hours of them stocking them. Unfortunately they stocked them that morning, and they were all gone. He did find a cat (from
Aristocats) he thought she would like, but since there were plenty he waited to let her choose. She had already bought a stuffed Pascal (from
Tangled).
Then they rode the monorail back into the park and went to get Fast Passes for Star Tours, but the return time was 11:45, so they did Autopia instead. They also went on the Storybook Land canal (Timothy wanted to do that) and the Jungle Cruise again. They got to watch the fireworks from the boat. Then they caught the 10:00 shuttle and came back to the hotel.
