Saturday morning we had breakfast and did a few chores before Aaron and Amy headed to the church and the rest of us watch General Conference from home. It's always an enjoyable couple of days. Not only do we get to watch church from home, but we get 10 hours of inspiring music and messages. I struggle to get the little kids to listen, but the older ones are pretty good about it.
Aaron and David picked some grapes before he left and then got them ready to juice. They steamed during conference and Aaron put them in jars in between sessions. I started working on the cinnamon rolls. We had lunch and did some chores. Then I put Michelle down for a nap and we watched the afternoon session. Aaron and Amy went back to the church.
I worked on dinner after the second session, and the cinnamon rolls. I was baking the when I had to leave for the women's broadcast with Aaron, Amy and Allison. I had Timothy take them out of the oven for me. We enjoyed the last session on Saturday, and then enjoyed some dessert afterward, pie and hot chocolate.
I don't remember what else we did after that, home for baths and bed time for the girls, and I frosted the cinnamon rolls. Sunday was more conference. We had the cinnamon rolls and grape juice for breakfast. After the morning session we had some lunch and then I put Michelle down for a nap and we watched the last session of conference. All of the sessions were amazing. I loved the changes that were put forth, and I am excited about doing the challenges President Nelson suggested. It was quite the coincidence that I had asked Aaron to buy the journal edition of the Book for Mormon while he was in the Seattle. He decided we needed a few more of them. I also did the 10 day social media fast.

That evening we had Victoria, Andy and Leo over for dinner. We knew they would be leaving in a couple of months, and wanted to make sure we got to have them over before they left. It was a fun evening. The girls thought it would be fun to climb all over our guest and make them swing them around while we played outside. It was the first time I felt like I needed to wear a jacket. I put on some pants instead of shorts, and put socks on Allison. It was a little cold for her. Eventually they had to head home for bed time, and our kids needed to get to bed as well.
Monday I wasn't planning to go up to the city, but then I remembered that I needed to pick up Aaron's fair project so I went shopping and picked it up on the way home. It barely fit in the back with all of the groceries etc. When I got home I took a picture so it could be seen better.
We're still waiting for the prize money. Haha!
The days all blend together, but here's a few things I remember. Allison was starting to pull herself up to stand more.
It was October so I decided to start baking with pumpkin.
Wednesday I woke to this cutie and had to take a picture when she was still sleeping at 7:30 am! That was the first time I had to wake her to get the kids to school.

That evening was awards night for the high school. David was part of the NHS induction for new members,
new inductees
and then David got several student of the semester and honor roll awards. But
didn't get his ticket drawn for a prize.
We all got candy bars and cake
afterward. It was strange to see the cafeteria blocked off because of
construction. Thursday when I went to pick up Timothy from drama I took a picture of the stairs, or rather the empty space where the stairs used to be.
Thursday morning I had to run back up to the city for a few things and I picked up my Rx.
That night Aaron drove up to Seattle for a meeting early Friday. He had hoped to come with us Friday, but then realized he had this meeting.
Friday was the much anticipated Kindergarten Pumpkin Patch field trip. Michelle, Allison and I met them there. It was a chilly morning. Allison had fallen asleep, so I was glad I had brought the stroller. I took a few pictures of Michelle as we waited for the buses.
I tried to get her to use the bathroom, but she didn't want to use the port-a-potty. She used it fine at the football game, but I think that's because she couldn't see down into it! Haha!
There's Melanie in her line. It was fun to see that Melanie's teacher had her mom bring her two kids, that aren't in school, to join her class.

It was hard to push the stroller, so on our way back I stopped the Yukon. I fed Allison, and then put her in the front carrier. The class was enjoying apple juice at the time, so we didn't miss anything. Then the class gathered for a picture.

While they were waiting for the other classes to finish they played "duck, duck, goose". Melanie didn't know how to play. How is it that we have never played this with her???
They also played "red light, green light". Then they lined up to get back on the bus. We waved goodbye, and then loaded up in the Yukon and headed home.
They had so much fun. It wasn't quite lunch time yet, so Michelle watched her shows but after about 20 minutes she fell asleep.
Aaron did some shopping after his meeting. He went to IKEA and Deseret Book, and the outlet stores on the way home.
That afternoon I took some pictures of Allison since she was turning 7 months old.

After school Melanie came home with the citizenship award for September! She was super excited to show me! I had to text Aaron a picture, even though he was on his way home.
That night was the Z* vs G* game. Originally I had planned on going, but it was raining, and I didn't want Allison out in the cold and rain, so the boys and I stayed home, and Aaron braved the game with the girls. Luckily it was a quick game. We easily pulled out the win. The boys and I watched Harry Potter 7 while they were gone.
