Ala Wai Promenade in HDR
We went to the tree lined promenade behind the Convention Center practice . This was an another experience with HDR. There is so much ways to work HDR it is almost endless. Will try again.

Hawaii State Ballet 05/22/09
We went to check out the Hawaii State Ballet at Ala Moana Shopping Center. These kids are good, very grace, excellent for their age and the little ones are so cute. Rather tough shoot, slightly dark and movement.
Techie stuff: Nikon D300 with 70-200mm VR f2.8, aperture mode, auto white balance, matrix metering, ISO 1000, flash SB-900 with snap-on diffuser.

NH Hoike at Farrington High School 05/15/09
Another Hoike, another great shooting opportunity. It was nice to see students and instructors from previous Hoikes. With every session they are get better and better. Hopefully so are we too.
Techie stuff: Nikon D300 with 24-70mm 2.8 and Nikon D90 with 17-35mm 2.8 and 85mm 1.4. Both in aperture mode, aperture 2.8 or 2.0 for 85mm, ISO 1600, no flash, RAW and manual focus point selection.
