It has been really fun watch Leah grow this year. She's learned to love reading and can read all night (and often gets caught doing so). She's learning to understand music and playing the piano. She's become a great cheerleader too. She fits the part, at least by appearance. She looks cute in her big bow on top of her long blond pony tail and naturally has a fun and happy personality. I feel bad that she sometimes gets effected by others in the organization that struggle with efficiency or managing the business side of cheer, but she always keeps her head up. Now if we can only eliminate the fighting and whining when it's time to get ready...well, patience. Patience. It is easier to be patient when you see the improvements she has made as she matures and learns. Here are some photos from her 2017 Summer and Fall as an American Fork Cavemen Cheerleader.

| Everybody came out to watch Leah in her final game....or so we thought. Apparently the week before was her final game. She didn't want anybody to be let down, so she cheered on the 3rd grade Cavemen football team by herself and did a fantastic job. |

We may explore other cheer groups in the future. Leah loves cheering the Cavemen and it's nice that they get to cheer at football games, but it is expensive and I have a hard time coughing up so much money only to be underwhelmed by how well the program is run. If it was run more efficiently, that would be nice, but it just ends up being a source of frustration to Sarah and I. We will definitely encourage Leah to continue her love for the sport. She is good at it.
