Happy 2-month birthday anniversary to me

Today I turned 2 months. With my newfound wisdom I look back on the childlike enthusiasm of my previous posts with laughter. Sure, pumpkins and volleyball games are fun, but all I really did was sleep all day. Look at me now!

The chillin' got a little chilly, so I went inside to warm up. Being warm is one of the things that makes me smile:

But once I got toasty, I remembered how great it was when I was little and could just nap all day, so I went back to my crib and went to sleep:

Miles Standish

I can't wait for Thursday! I've been practicing my gobble noises (they still kind of sound like coos) and am passing the time playing on my monkey play mat that Grandma Patty and Grandpa John got me.



I've also been reading up on Pilgrims and I discovered there was a military advisor for the Plymouth Colony named Miles Standish. Ok, his name was really Myles, but wikipedia says it is sometimes spelled with an "i" so I'm going to assume it was really Miles. Wikiality rocks.

Anyway, I'm going to spend Thanksgiving with both sides of my family. I'll get to see Grandmas Carolyn and Patty, Grandpas Greg and John, and my uncles!

Under Construction

Between moving and having a laptop die I haven't been able to update the blog in forever! However, things are getting back to normal, and I'm happy to say I'm posting from my new home, which is still a work in progress.

Lately I've been hanging out a lot in our family room:

In general, things are going good! It has been getting chillier out, so I've been bundling up a bit more:

And I'm looking forward to Turkey day, although I don't know if we're getting an Ankara Turkey or an Istanbul Turkey.

I watched my first election coverage tonight. It was pretty boring and I still don't understand the whole electoral college thing. Is it a good school?

I also saw my first coyote today, running in front of our condo. Mommy wasn't fast enough to get a picture. She says they're pretty rare around here. Oh, and I heard thunder for the first time today too!

Trick or Milk!

Friday night was kinda weird.

Everybody in my neighborhood got dressed up in costumes and went around knocking on strangers' doors begging for candy. I don't understand why they weren't asking for milk.

Anyways, I joined in the fun by dressing up as Daddy.



I'm not really sure who my parents were supposed to be. If you ask me, they look pretty stupid.
