Chug-a-Chug-a Chug-a-Chug-a Chug-a-Chug-a Petting Zoo

While in Rockaway Beach for the 4th of July, we took the scenic train to Garabaldi.



It was my first train ride, so at first I wasn't sure what to expect:







But I loved it! It was nothing like Thomas or Yo Gabba Gabba! led me to believe.







I pointed out a ton of cool things to Mom and Daddy:







I had so much fun, I wanna go again and again and again.



The fun continued the next day when we went to the petting zoo in Tillamook:



I got to feed the sheep and goats:









Daddy even took a trick photo of me that made me look like a donkey:



We're going camping this weekend. I've only camped once before, and that was when the power went out and we set up a tent in the family room. I had a blast sharing a tent with Mom and Daddy, but I hope it'll be even more fun outside!

Happy Birthday America!

This year, like last year, we went to the coast for the 4th of July.

After celebrating the holiday with a parade (yes, there were tractors again) and fireworks (which we could actually see this year), we went to the beach to enjoy the sand, water, and sun:







I practiced my David Hasselhoff lifeguard romp:





Daddy taught me to skip rocks into the ocean:



and to strut out of the surf:



I practiced my surfer pose with Grandpa John and Great-Uncle JJ:





Grandma Carolyn taught me how to splash the salt water:



And make a sand castle in the sand:



We also played with birds, squirrels, and deer:









We watched a beautiful sunset:

I can't wait until next year.



In health news, I had a 4-month checkup with my cardiologist, and I don't have to go back for another 4 months!
