Miles vs. the Aliens (and Brunch)

The day after the wedding, we went to Salty's on Alki for brunch.

It started off a foggy but promising day. There was a UFO hovering above Elliot Bay, from which a bunch of paddling aliens came from:

Aunt Linda entertained me during brunch:

Then I squirmed my way into lots of photos. Here I am with Daddy and Grandpa:

And the three of us are with Granny (Grandpa's mom):

Then Daddy and I said hi to Aunt Rosie (Granny's sister):

Finally we headed outside to enjoy the sun and view:

The fog finally lifted:

So I took my truck for a drive:

And threw rocks at the UFO:

It's still there:

Bubble Party

This summer my Uncle Tristan and Aunt Linda had a really fun bubble party called a wedding. You may remember when I alluded to it in one of our Canada posts. So, better late than never, here are some pictures from the happy day:

Apparently I was looking really cute here because both the photographer and my Daddy took pictures of me at the same time:

I bubbled Grandpa:

And Daddy:

The sky:

And the table:

And most importantly, spent time with Uncle Tristan and (officially, now) Aunt Linda:

Technical Difficulties Over!

Last winter, it was a broken camera.
This year it was our computer.

Luckily Daddy's an engineer, so instead of shelling out $500 on a new computer, he spent 2 months of hunting for the perfect replacement parts at the cheapest price, he bought them, installed them, found out they didn't work, bought new ones, and installed them, and I'm back, just in time for Congenital Heart Defects Awareness Week (Feb 7-14th)!

As I'm playing catchup, I'm sure you'll forgive me if my posts focus more on the pictures and less on the stories. We'll do this chronologically, so you'll have to wait a bit for Christmas pictures and instead think back to how I looked 6 months ago.

We'll start with Grandpa Greg's birthday last August. We watched the Mariners beat the Red Sox, taking their record to something like 5-0 when I'm there! Baseball's a lot more boring when you always know who's going to win.
