Finality
Well.
But?
We've only just begun.
SEVEN-ZERO
Take that; Triple Finish!
How's that for a triple whammy.
And promise; it'll get better.

Scale
Not on this large a scale, at any rate.
I'm practically exhausted.
But! But but but
The worst of the storm is over
The tempest has withered and aged
And it'll be yay all around.
---
Slept at 5, woke at 6, worked till 4, worked some more, realised I couldn't make it on time, screamed, grumbled, accepted it and waited for good news.
It came. =D thanks chichi.
Congratz guys, no matter how you did it, you're through to the next round.
Sorry I couldn't make it - you know I would if only I could >< though you still made it through =D
Steo your reaction was epic ^^
---
After hectic rush, there was a sudden lull - the onset of an especially needed weekend. I wandered around, left to find food, found none, and realised the clock at the old workplace canteen had stopped.
Ironic.
Where is all the time when we need it most?
Deliberated on where to go, in the end went to the supermarket near by, bought a cheap tube of biscuits, and walked and ate my way home. And then had dinner. Then rested. Then blogged.
And what happens when you want to spend time with your close family and friends?
Looking forward to tomorrow ~
I repeat myself; but ----
WE WON'T LET YOU DOWN
At sometime past 3am today, I had a glimpse into suicidal-level stress; the feeling of just wanting everything to stop, disappear, to turn back the clock and undo decisions.
Still, without time-unravelling miracles, God blessed me and I was able to make it through, with the deadlines and all, with time to spare!... This is really something I never foresaw, and never really thought would be possible, what with delays and all. God helps even when - especially when - you screw up.
God helps those who can't help themselves.
---
So therefore I apologize for my recent lack of blogposts, and hope to continue to keep this place active. Thanks goes out to my wonderful taggerz for keeping this place alive, as always =D

Tripod
Hmm hmm hmm.
---
I find myself surreal.
Having delayed reactions may be quite a good thing.
Raw-shock. Ah, hahahaha.
Oh the painfully lame puns. Haha.
---
Have you ever found yourself not-tired, even though logically speaking you ought to be sleeping or at least exhausted? And continuing to do stuff that you would normally do if you were fully awake?
In the weird geography of sleep
Then you close your eyes for a second longer than usual; or touch your pillow or your bed and feel the sudden change in temperature and texture upon your hand.
Many still do not find rest
And you then you just want to sleep, and sleep, and sleep...?
"He gives to His beloved in sleep"
I often jokingly reply that one of my favourite things is sleep.
has never been so dear.
Ha. Ha. Ha.
[Edit]
I'll leave it to your imagination what was edited out.

It's reassuring and rather odd to find shakugan posting such stuff about how it used to be two years ago. Things were much more different then, granted...
Things have changed. People move on, people come in. New friends, old rivals, new friends.
Remember how we used to plan imaginary assaults, imagine plans of grandeur, although it really just is a hole in the wall.
But it was a really nice hole in the wall.
At the end of the day, it's not so much about the activity then the people that surround you and regale you with the weirdest of stories. Even if you all hate it, at least you can find something in common to complain to each other about.
Despite all, never despair
Things may not be what we all made out to be (or perhaps it's just me in my naivete).
Yet I do still hope for the best.
It's simply not over till it's over.
Haha, clinche, and oddly ironic, the best is yet to be.
And the best part?
And you all will have a part in it.

Hidden
It's mired both ways; I want to choose the more utalitarian one.
I hope.
I hope this doesn't wind up sabotaging everyone else.
God will provide me with the means and the ways.
Four more days.
Have work to do but no means to do it.
Helplessness is so infuriating.
---
Well, that was fruitful.
This will be a good start.
I went out looking if the libraries stocked any Watchmen collection, and was hoping that it wasn't all borrowed out by rabid fans. I was proven right; apparently they don't stock any at all.
A new way to read in between the lines.
But all was not lost, I managed to come back with an armload of other more PG comics =D
And you thought I let all this space go to waste?
I shall continue my fringe activity of surfing Wiki and Watchmen-related sites and reading small snippets of pages uploaded there.
At this point of time all I'm reminded of is Kinky ranting on how he was trying not to spoil the Harry Potter series from himself, but once he logged on to MSN he got messages like "Dumbledore is dead! Snape killed him". Cue exasperated face and us laughing, haha. Good times.
Rorschach is dead! Manhattan killed him. And his inkblot mask, too.
I hope I didn't spoil it for anyone.
Some'll probably get it.
How do you pronounce "Rorschach" anyway.
Some probably won't.

Back to work everyone haha.
Let's see.

Thirty-two
And got to see egam too ^^
[As well as seeing people I thought'd had forgotten me
Greeting people in the way I used to
Hearing the nostalgic old melodies
The high piano keys
Of songs whose names I do not know
Yet which I have continuously heard
And remembered
For four years.
And counting.
I'll be back.]

I found something even more mindbending. Fries your braincells so much, such that after that, the mere mention or thought of the subject is enough for crispy fried brain.
It's finger-lickin' good.

Now you're thinking with portals.

Satisfaction
On another note, congratulations, guys =D
---
They always thought he was a little weird. Flitting around the dark corridors of the hospital in his clean white uniform, the end of his garments fluttering in the wind like a dress. He had an aura about him, the uncanny ability to make people nervous at the sight of him. Not exactly Florence Nightingale, but he didn't mind.
Ha, ha - blood? Bleeding, are you? Don't worry. I'll take care of it.
Still, the higher-ups in the hospital didn't care if he looked like Frankenstein's creation or Britney Spears, so as long as he had the official experience and know-how. He was welcomed into the family of the hospital with open arms, except that his relatives there kept a respectable distance. 'Twas said that scarred children turned out like him, they said, but he never spoke about it, always wearing the off-tilt smile of his and the slightly bloodsplattered apron.
Pain, you say. Does it hurt?
Not that he was incompetent - he was, after all, qualified. The nurses spoke highly of his abilities and in low voices about his demeanour. He was the quintessential school dentist - children freaked out near him, refused to go to him, but he went about his job in a professional, polished, if spooky manner.
It hurts?
It was a dreary November night, and he had collected his instruments around him, ready to call it a day. He slung his bag loosely over his shoulder, and found his way barred by a panting nurse. Room 106, she panted. Patient. problem breathing. asphyxiation probably. hurry please? He halted, his cloak billowing around him, white against the dark room.
Good.
The patient's room was dark when he arrived - short pained bursts of breathing broke night's silence. He clinically deposited his bag on the chair next to the bed, intending to observe and treat the patient's illness. His eyes travelled from the twitiching muscular body, the tic in the trained forearm, and the glazed eyes set in the face.
His cold eyes widened ever so slightly.
He looked into the eyes of he who struck him many a time on a childhood playground, confiscated from him many a dollar, shamed him many a time, and hellified years. He seemed to realise it too, eyebrows arching up, with a strange odd look in his eyes.
He felt around for what he was looking for, gripping two small objects in his hands. The nurse busied herself hooking up his defibrillator pads, while he looked at him with a glint in his eyes.
"Now, this might sting."
His eyes rolled back.
scream.
That night, as his wife plugged in the twin irons she had bought, and electric current flowed through her heart and the defibrillators she held in her hands, knocking her to the floor, twitching.

Twirl
Then I left it alone for less than four minutes and it dropped to 7%.
And I've charged it for the past 20 minutes and it's now at 8%.
Whups.
Better get it repaired before my warranty expires cho.

Get well soon Trace ><

No matter, no matter... Life's still good yeah.
To quote, it can't get so bad it can't get any worser.
If we'd just stop and think about it for a moment, we really are blessed.
And then we'd just move on?
---
You know, tomorrow, you guys could make history.
Well, for us, at any rate.
So why don't you go out there and own, do yourselves proud =D
cry
and laugh
and enjoy together
as the sun slowly wanes
and the moon now heralds a new dawn

Run
There's a first for everything.
And knowing the taggers here, someone will probably misinterpret it.
Self-fulfilling statement perhaps?
---
Eating and drinking are natural habits to all. You don't need to be told to eat (unless you're anorexic), and if you don't eat, you'd starve, hallucinate, try to turn cannibalistic, and then die.
So it is to no surprise that people, perhaps, love to eat. Many have a love-hate relationship with eating; they like food, but not what it does to their body. These same many are conditioned by society to think that in order to look nice, one must abide by strict opinions set out by society.
Yet others, love food as tools. They share jokes over ice cream, meaningful glances over Japanese takeaway, and propose over a romantic candlelight dinner.
Speaking of that, there was once this guy who splattered his friend in the face with a cream pie. It was all fun and games until the friend realised he couldn't breathe through cream, and subsequently asphyxiated, and died. His friend had to get his other friends to drag him out, dig him a grave, and lower him into it, and cover it with nice fresh peat, and come visit every month or so.
They found it rather irritating and inconvenient to distrupt their own activities for such.
So.
For the convenience of all passengers, eating or drinking is not allowed in the stations or trains.

Drain
100%, 95%, 89%, 88%, 86%, 51%.
My laptop battery level.
In the space of three minutes.
I do not profess to be a tech genius, but when the battery level drops 2% in a space of 10 seconds, and IE crashes more frequently than xkcd updates, something has got to be really wrong.
It is therefore with a heavy heart, weary resignation and gratefulness for warranties that I will (soon) surrender my laptop for repairs.
But still, tag cho! =D
---
On another note, I was supposed to be doing work today. Instead, I took time off, read the papers, rediscovered my long-lost cap, exercised and ran, and had dinner with the family.
Good trade, I say.
Now to do work.
---
This song is worthy of literary analysis - or, social discussion.
---
I find it very hard to keep a straight face in amusing circumstances, I am easily amused. It doesn't take that much for me to laugh - often I laugh of my own accord, which freaks people out. Don't worry, I'm not schizo (not diagnosed yet), just that I find something funny, or have recalled something funny.
You have been warned, I'm just weird =D Hahaha.
---
I finally made a breakthrough in drawing - I am now using a mechanical pencil.
Yay.

Flourish
Che, perfection is a hopeless prison.
Anyway, that aside, it was really, really awesome. Congratulations to Thunder, as well as many thanks to all who have helped, especially YM and JY.
And to Arty-guy, Thunder, Beh and the rest - you guys really made it all worthwhile.
And after it was all over, I got a pink flower from Zack and kylim. Unexpected lol. I think this is the first time I got anything like this. Thanks, you guys.
---
If IE "Not Responding"s on me one more time...
[Edit: HOSHINO-SENSEI UPDATED]
---
I'm looking forward to tomorrow - che - I mean, later today.
---
I wanted to title this "Exeunt" but that would be inappropriate.
There never really is an "Exeunt" in this story. Not yet.
Only many, many "Flourish"s.
It ain't over till it's over - in fact, this year's only just beginning.

Dramatic
Oh well.
---
Reading xkcd in the middle of the night is a rather surreal experience.
Thank you all taggers for your time and patience cho ~
Continue to tag pls =D
---
It's been tiring, for sure, but it's been a good long week.
It's ending tomorrow -
And a new series of events will begin.
---
Am I an optimist or an emo?
And how do I know?
And how do you know?
Is it so clear-cut?
Is it important?
?
---
Taking any random passage or chunk of words, sing it to yourself in the tune of any song you'd care to think about.
It's odd.
---
To be perfectly honest, when I first heard "Watchmen" my first reaction was "Mr. Game and Watch".
Hahaha.
The blood-splattered smiley face.

Breathe
After typing this, I shall go render myself unconscious for about five hours, then set about rushing to another location where others shall attempt to render me unconscious.
But for now, crickets are chirping softly in the background, the low hum of the fan permeates the room, only to be broken occasionally by a familiar snore. My head turns to drowsiness and my fingers weakly hit the keyboard.
My brain now runs at low processing power - I think of people around me, projects I have, time I don't, and things I want to take up in my spare time.
I'll have friends and family to look forward to, projects I enjoy doing, people to be with for the projects I don't, and grace for the days to come.
... Is there such a thing as reverse emo?
---
And Edward, if ever you want to refer to that post, it's titled "Valentine", somewhere in the middle of February. Go figure.
---
I'll complete my last round of blogsurfing, then I'll be off for the night.
That's what I told myself an hour ago.
Right.
Thanks for the tags cho...
Continue to tag plox =D

Paint
First, to briefly explain my abscence from the blogosphere, my apartment underwent extensive colour application procedures (read: painting) and as such I was forced to evacuate and make do. I even camped over at my aunt's place for a night Oo
Right, it's all settled (more or less), the place is in a half-mess, and I can't find stuff I need - yet.
Still, it's good to me back~
---
It's been a long and hectic week, but suffice to say it was pretty interesting.
I'm waiting for tomorrow. Rather weird.
Recently I've become more random as usual, so do forgive me if my attention is suddenly turned towards the weird or the bizzare (even in real life).
Sat in a Macs with Steo, fax and Trace. The gathering of people from the same community, old and new friends alike, and chatting like there's no tomorrow.
Thoughts of bungee jumping off the second story without a bungee cord and screaming "MCCHICKEN!!" at the top of your lungs suddenly got a lot more appealing.
Thanks guys you really made my day.
On a vaguely related note, the day before was passed very eventfully, but none the less fun, and all congratulations to the juniors for breaking yet another barrier. I'm very happy myself, thank you very much. Just can't wait for next month (screw that, next two weeks)
---xkcd updated, VGCats updated, even liks updated, but I'm still waiting for Hoshino-sensei...
I'm not one to complain I guess. =D
---
That song is really quite addictive, I've found myself playing it in my head when I least expect it, and it is occasionally distracting when I need to concentrate on something, but yeah. I'm distracted enough as is xD
