Rerun

To quote the words of ZC-sama...
I r backzorz.

...and my computer is repaired, without wiping my hard drive! whoo~

---

The world as we know it is shattering.
Change of schedules, climate change, unprecedented financial turmoil, earthquakes, Michael Jackson is dead.

*sigh*

---

On a lighter note, here's the joke for the post!
It's comforting to know that even in the madness in the world...

...there's SPARTA

Chuck Norris owns the greatest poker face of all-time. It helped him win the 1983 world series of poker despite him holding just a joker, a 2 of clubs, a 7 of spades, and a green number 4 from Uno and a monopoly ‘get out of jail free’ card.

Chuck Norris won 'Jumanji' without ever saying the word. He simply beat the living shit out of everything that was thrown at him, and the game forfeited.

Tried uploading the pic, failed (ironically enough! bonus joke!) so here's the link.

Have fun with life y'all.

Melt

As ice melts away, so does short-lived anger.

Too often we forget that there are more things to life than the petty disturbances we have on our hands.

*sigh*

Then we stop and think and realise that there is indeed greater things than the "stupid piece of shit that doesn't f***ing work", hm.

From a purely practical point of view, anger gets you nowhere, and blows your mind such that your productivity drops like a brick on steriods.

The cool evening breeze still blows calmly across the land, the light piano notes drifting through the night air. Sure, there's work to be done, and urgently so, but still.

Breathe in the cooling night air.
Life moves on, and its petty disturbances are crushed under its grand procession.

Ice

Gone.
All gone.

Four. Effing. Hours. Of. Work.

The best part? I was about to upload it. Almost finished. And then I would have a permanent online copy of my work, in case something like this happens.

Disappeared down a swirling virtual drain of bits and bytes.

Slammed the back of my head into the wall so violently I think I broke a layer of paint.

Proceeded then to annihilate pieces of ice against the kitchen floor, picking them up again, slamming them into the floor again, then crushing the pieces I couldn't pick up again with the ball of my foot.

Now, all that remains of several pieces of ice are several tiny shattered crystals quickly sinking into small pools of water on the kitchen floor.

Back. To. Work.

Repair

My computer's off for repair ~

I have this strange urge to type, work, play, sleep and do everything except in order, one at a time.

On a more upbeat note, when my computer gets back, I will treasure its convenience all the more.

Hiatus

Contrary to what the title says, I am NOT going on a hiatus. Not immediately, anyway.

First off, a thousand apologies for the extreme lack of posts (more than a week! This has to be some sort of new record. In a negative sort of way) but my computer has been down, I have my committments (and should you, I suppose?)...

My computer, after the recent great Unneeded Computer Repair Incident of 2009, my computer is again, down with something... immediately after Steo had used it to broadcast "Sony Release Piece of Shit Which Doesn't F***ing Work" rather loudly in a public place. Perhaps it was a Sony operative. In any case...

In response to b.u.r.n's tag, I doubt I will be joining anytime soon, because I would rarely go on / go on too much as to serve an extreme distraction. I recently reactivated my fanfiction.net account - my username was mentioned (not explicitly as such though) in previous posts, so for those stalkers out there, yeah, leave this post alone already.

Yes, I am on fanfiction.net. *sigh* How I got on, is a long story, although Steo recently pulled off a similiar trick on me recently. Fool me once, shame on me, fool me twice, still shame on me...

Yes, I still remember that piece of fiction I'm supposed to post up here - I haven't written it. Yet. Wait till I actually am able to post normally first, then we'll see how. Committments, committments...

---

A song nearly made me cry.

And no, the shopkeeper didn't hit me on the back of my head with its CD cover, neither.

---

And because I'm using a different computer, I'm slightly restricted in the "where" I can go to - thus, leading to neglecting of blogs for a while. Apologies, I'll be back soon.

I made people facepalm on a serious subject ~ oh happy day ~

---

Not only did I lose my ability to blog / type, my pencil went missing.
And I couldn't be bothered to buy another, and all the other pencils I find either are funnily tilted or have their leads snap even more frequently than my nerves.

So, drawing's out of the question too...

Which leaves headdesking and work.

Luckily they come at a joint promotion!
Optimism is a virtue.

---

So, please do come back and tag and post - I really appreciate what you guys have done thus far - without you guys, this place would just be an inane ramblings of such, which "they" may use against me, claiming "slight derangement, rambling to himself like that" and what not.

Coherent phrase of the day, from chichi:
"i'm a duck i go quack quack all the time"

Mmhmm.

Perhaps one of these days I'll write a post on the existentialism of ducks and their view on the sidereal objectives of life, the universe, and the modern cha-cha.

Till then, tag please cho.

Dinner

Okay, I wanted to actually do work today, which means I will need to be content with a quick post today.

Right.
Okay, back to work.
---

Following a rather bizzare turn of events, [ --- ] and [ --- ] happily announced their marraige over MSN last night, with [ --- ] offering the figurative ring and [ --- ] accepting, much to the shock, congratulations, and amusement of the remaining three of us.

I doubt it'll last, but I predict they'll remain "strictly friends... and then some".
Hahaha. =D
I now pronounce ya Chuck'an'Larry, heh.
---

Was going out for dinner alone last night when I realised that
1. I didn't especially want to go out.
2. I didn't eat lunch. Therefore hungry.

3. I have no food at home.
4. There's a vending machine nearby.

I proceeded then to eat a dinner wholly composed of a quarter tube of Polo and a Fox sweet I found in the fridge, a packet of cheese rings, another packet of different cheese rings, and a pack of peanuts.

Topped off by water, juice, and a pack of soya bean.
glendon, how did the dance go? =D
... I need to improve my eating habits.
But where's the fun in that?

Faith

Had a rather vivid dream last night/this morning. Not exactly a nightmare but not really appreciated. I woke up and discovered I had almost flung my handphone off my bed, almost resulting in its self-destruct sequence being activated.

5.48am.

Yawn, go back to sleep.

---

Hmhm I purposely wake up early to do work and how?
I wind up surfing the net, reading, blogging. =.=

---

Believe me when I say life is worth enjoying.
No matter where you are, or what circumstance you're going through, enjoy life at the present, please.

---
Especially you. Hm?
I curse that cancer to hell, and God bless you both and your families with good health and peace.

Grace

Perhaps I wasn't too clear: what is grace?

Grace is unmerited favour. Unmerited, as in unearned, undeserved, bought because of Someone else's payment.

So there is nothing you can do to earn it, or to deem yourself unworthy of it.
It's a gift, freely given. And all you need to do is receive.

---

On an entirely seperate note, without knowing it, I completed roughly twenty-five hours without food.
From breakfast one day to a mentos sweet at roughly 9-10am the following day.
Yeah sorry no hidden text for a while
Surprisingly enough, I didn't feel hungry on Day One. Ah well.
Will start work on a new background soon.
Is this the start of anorexia / bulimia?
Or just very bad eating habits?
I dunno, I'm going to hunt down small pieces of food now kthxbai.

Fan

No tags? TT

Managed to do some stuff that I haven't done for a long time, started new projects, wrapped up old ones... Ah the blame and luxury of extra time.
created by an old friend
In any case, next week promises to be more easy, free-r time, although I probably know what I have to do then, unfortunately =.=
I doubt he knows I'm actually using it - if anyone figures this out, please check it out =D
---

Trace smsed me in a middle of her prestigious, important meeting, saying it was boring, and that they declared war on each other just for fun. Fax, Steo and Chewy seem to having the same problem at their different, yet equally prestigious, important meeting.

Meanwhile here I'm worked out of my skull and enjoying it. Sorta.
Well it has to beat sitting down and listening if I can sit down and type =D
And listen to random Youtube videos as I wish...

... crap, back to work. Tight schedule. Tag please cho, I'll update later...

---

And, speaking of random Youtube videos, this is cute. I'm not particularly rabid about WALL-E, but this is an interesting short, so WALL-E fans check it out.

Handphones

If there's a job I'd actually shy away from, it's handphone promoters, standing at the handphone shop.

Nothing against them personally. They're mostly awesome people. But imho, they have one of the most mind-boggling jobs readily available.

"Hi I'd like a phone."
"Sure, what's your budget?"
"$100, considering this voucher for $100." *waves voucher*
"Sorry sir/ma'am, this voucher is only applicable for [...] while to do [...] you need this [...] voucher, or apply for [...]."
"Oh."

It's like chess, but it feels more like Hangman. Heck, I get tired listening to all the terms and conditions. I feel kinda sorry for them if they don't enjoy what they're doing.

"I want a [this brand] handphone."
"Okay."
"But then it must have [this function], with the buttons aligned as such, and then with/without a slide screen / keyboard / touchscreen..."
"Oh."

So, I salute handphone salesmen.

---

In any case..

It's coming to a month, and VGCats still hasn't updated. TT
On a brighter note, xkcd has.
And after surfing fanfiction.net for 2 hours last night, I think I'll write some.
... maybe.

And I still owe you guys a short story to torture you with, so yeah. I haven't forgotten yo. =D

I keep my promises, but next time you guys make promises with me, do keep in mind time limits...
Technically I'm not breaking them.
---
glendon I still owe you a present, I haven't forgotten =D
What are you, president of his fan club?
Da da, da da, da da da da da da dum.

---

I figured out how to solve Rubik's cubes... simply dismantle the cube into itty bitty pieces, hammer not included. Problem solved.

Putting it together again, if possible, is optional.

---

Steo: According to the movie we just watched, Attila the Hun was in fact a very nice person who liked to tell stories to little kids.
Mr TWJ: Oh, really? Damn, I must have been mistaken all these years.

---

In conclusion, giving dragonfruit, oranges and sweet potatoes (a crowd favourite) in place of flowers evoke very interesting results.
Especially a long sweet potato. Yup.
Facial expressions may vary.

---

Oh crap, I just realised my post is very disjointed. Again.

Heck, what so wrong with disjointe

---

On another note, AL Change the School audio has gone out of whack. Can someone remedy it plz.

Kindle

Sometimes I stop and think - what if I never see you again?
Or, what if I never get to see you at all?
Or if this is just a dream and we all wake up.
Or if this life is all that we have?

And why the heck do I always think about these kind of things at night?

Shit, that's me attempting to be serious again.
A tradeoff for trying to be friendly = people don't tend to take you seriously.

---

Enjoy life in its little moments, that's what you'll remember about life.
The thought of losing them just about breaks my heart.

Enjoy life guys, like it or not, you got the package deal =D
Especially YOU. Treasure your friends.
---

Ah well enough with emoing =D
The days stretch ahead and - oh crap forgot something I got to do.

In any case, the days stretch ahead and stuff, time seems long but really isn't.

So as the suicidal bunnies of life jump into the active jet turbine of time, this post must come to an end, because otherwise I'd fall asleep too late and won't be able to wake up at 7am to enjoy life.
I haven't figured out details yet ^^
Have fun y'all.
