Grandpa Nelson

I got nominated to make a photo book for my Grandpa Nelson's 80th birthday with pictures and letters from each of his kids, grand kids, and great grandkids.  It was a little time consuming but actually a very fun time going through old pictures of his life as a young boy, student, father, orthodontist, husband, Servant of the Lord, farmer, world traveler, grandfather.  I also enjoyed reading all of the words from his legacy of loved ones. 
While I spent many days working on this book my little Lady spent her time making messes and getting into things that usually her mother would not let her get into. 

 The weather is warming up so we are trying to get outside alittle and blow bubbles, take walks, and feed the ducks, and jump in mud puddles.  Cant believe it is February and my little Brother is getting home from his mission this week, and Shawn is in the middle of mid-terms and half way done with another semester of school, and Valentines day has come and gone, and we are getting closer to our spring break trip to Utah/Wyoming and my babies get bigger and bigger each day!!!
I truly love spending each and everyday with my two little ladys.  They make my life complete and I would rather spend all day watching them grown then doing anything else in this world.  I consider myself so fortunate to get to stay home with them each day. 

Callie is now thinking she is big enough to blow the bubbles herself.  Which usually means that she is covered in a bubbly mess by the time she is done

 Callie has a new accessory...she has discovered sun glasses and loves them.  She wore them to church last Sunday and thought she was looking pretty good. Good thing they had them in the dollar section of Target and we bought a few pair because they are becoming a permanent in her wardrobe these days. 

 Callie has also discovered the binkies we have for Lucy (although Lucy does not really use the binky besides chewing on it) Callie has become addicted to them and will steal them and hide to suck on them.  So all binkies are gone now!  She never took a binky as a baby and I am not going to have her start now at 20 months.
