Latest doings

DOES ANYBODY WANT TO BY A CAR? Mine is up for sale. Pass along this info to everyone you know. I have had it in the paper and on the Web for 4 weeks and have had zero calls on it. I talked to a guy who owns a used car lot and he said that the car market is DEAD. He said in twenty years he has never seen this before. He said it is not my car or the price that is the problem. Folks, I think that we are in a recession, despite what Washington says.




Carolyn and Conrad came down to visit while Conrad was doing some contract work. Feb 13 is Janet's birthday and Feb 14 is Conrad's. Janet is 29 again and Conrad just turned 49. We went to the Olive Garden for dinner where we got the waiters and waitresses to sing to them a rousing "Happy Birthday." In this picture, Lauren had just showed up from play practice and she was wearing a wig, so her normal hair was all matted down. She was explaining some the the shenanigans regarding the play practice for "Little Women." Lauren is playing "Meg" and you too can see it if you hurry down to St. George by Feb 21. It runs through the 25th.




Carolyn is a former "cosmotologist" and could hardly wait to get her fingers in Lauren's matted down hair to "unfold" it.



Speaking of hair, Janet surprized me with a new "do" for Valentine's Day. It reminded me of how she looked when I first met her years ago as a student nurse at Providence Hospital in Michigan. I used to think that she looked like "Annie" from the famous play "Little Orphan Annie." However, she's no longer an orphan as I've taken her in.
