I played the "Blue Monster" at Doral, and did it have a lot of sand. Fortunately it didn't find my ball in it very often as I had 8 pars and 2 birdies on this beautiful course.
Especially with a form like this.
One of my favorite things we did was go to the Everglades National Park. We saw dozens of alligators while we rode on the tram 7 miles out to an observation tower. Rachelle, Adam and Scooter surprised an alligator on a trail by the tower. The beast was just 3 feet away from Scooter and it hissed at them. This picture is of Janet and me at the top of the observation tower at "Shark Valley." To me the Everglades were "other-worldly" - kind of like a Safari in Africa with endless plains of grass covered with animals.
Another highlight was snorkeling off of Key Largo. Here Janet is getting back on the boat. Notice the tight fit her mask was as it has given her face a big hickey and also notice the size of flotation vest- "child." Yes, she is still little.
On another note, Jessica and Scooter celebrated their 2nd anniversary by going on a hot air balloon ride. As some of you may remember, Scooter proposed to Jessica in an airplane over the St. George Temple. He wanted to take her on a balloon ride over the temple, but the wind wouldn't allow it and they had to settle down early - adn that happened to be next to the hospital- what irony was this as this is what they will be doing for the next 11 years- landing near a hospital.
