Rachelle just received the news that she has been accepted into BYU's Business Management Program! We are so happy for her - she has worked very hard to achieve this goal. It is really an honor, especially so since BYU's undergraduate program has recently been rated #7 in the nation. Click
here for more info. OK Grandpa Ray, Michigan does rank higher - but just barely... Here is a photo we took of Rachelle as she was leaving in September to go back to school. Doesn't she look confident, happy, clean and beautiful? She will be a valuable asset to her school and program. We are all thrilled for her and know that her future will be filled with more hard work and challenges, but also great adventure.
In addition, Lauren has announced that she will be leaving Southern Utah University (photo of Lauren showing Grandma Helen and Grandpa Ray SUU's library). She has decided to transfer to the University of Utah next fall. We were surprised by her announcement but are fine with it. We will finally get one daughter who will attend the University of Utah. Her dad, her Uncle Gordon, her Grandpa George and brother-in-law Adam are especially pleased.
