I am so happy that life is slowly getting some normalcy back to it! We are officially on summer break now! Yay!! As surveys go out to teachers and parents about their views for starting back in the fall, it is easy to get nervous or scared about what things might look like then...but I can't read those things and remember God is in control. It was so sad watching Easton's end of the year video last week on Zoom with his class...it went from so many fun activities and events with his friends to pictures of the kids working on a computer alone at their kitchen tables. Easton and Emerson overall had great attitudes with being home to finish the year, but oh how I hope their 3rd grade and K4 years will be filled with fun with friends at school.
Here is our recap of highlights from last month. The kids loved watching their caterpillars change into butterflies!
Easton and Logan had a golf outing with the dads. Easton really turned a corner about golf these last couple months. He asks to go play now and is loving it out there!
While they were out playing, Emily and I hung out with the other kids at home.

Easton has even played 18 holes with Pop and Nanny! He went from 6 holes last summer and will be playing 9 holes in his tournaments this year, so he will be ready after practicing with 18! :)

Mother's Day 2020 ♥ Drake had the kids pick out something at Target that reminded them of me. I loved getting their cute little gifts! Easton got me a glittery pop grip holder for my phone and Emerson got me a pack of make up brushes.
We continued to have some food/ice cream trucks come through the hood...

Easton has enjoyed inviting some friends over. They usually swim and follow it up with some Just Dance.

A big part of feeling "normal" lately is that we have been back to baseball! It was a crazy back and forth for a while and then some players not coming back, players moving around...but ultimately Easton gets to play his last year of coach pitch with Pop on the mound and I am excited for that!

We celebrated Drake's birthday with an adult party at our house! It was so good to hang out with friends and the kids had a sleepover with Pop and Nanny.
We went to putt putt! Emerson got 2 hole in ones! Yes...she is wearing goggles to play. That girl is something else.
Kids bowl free started! So we can add another fun activity to our summer list when we have rainy days. The hours are different this year, so Drake can go some too! Yay :)
