Happy 2021!
I am finally getting around to posting our December pictures on here...and I hate that I didn't get around to posting a year end recap...but then again, does 2020 really need a year end recap? I think we will always remember that year when we look back. :) I am so thankful that even with all of the craziness, we really did have a wonderful year overall! I pray that 2021 is a positive year for everyone and want to just focus on the good in the world, because it is easy these days to get sucked into everything that is not going right.
So, looking back to our December...I wanted to post our awesome memories. Oh Christmas time! So much fun! Easton is still young enough to believe and have his little boy excitement surrounding Christmas and all of the fun events that go with it, and Emerson is now old enough to where she was really pumped about Santa coming to visit and loved ripping into presents. :)
Our little Elfdy came back! I bought a pre-made kit with every day already packed and planned for me-mom win! :)

We signed up for flag football :) Easton is loving football right now and wants to go out and throw every day.
The start of football came right as soccer was ending. The kids both had a great season. Emmy's team went undefeated and she had 3 goals! Easton's team went 6-1-1 and he had 19 goals!
I love this picture of my boy. Unfortunately, our one loss, was also our final game...so it was a bummer way to end the season. But, watching Easton compete is pretty awesome. This was towards the end of the game, when it was pretty certain we were going to lose...but that just made him push that much harder to try and pull off a last minute win. You can see the determination on his face. I love his competitiveness.
We watched a lot of Christmas movies! Cold, lazy nights...even in boxes for a drive-in :)
Cold weather makes it that much harder to get up and going in the mornings too!

I am so thankful both of the kid's teachers will send me pictures of them! They are both having a good year and I am still so thankful they are back at school in person!

Date Night! We go to Angelina's every time now. SO yummy!
We drove over to Wales West for their Christmas set up with the Stilwell family. I always get excited when we get to do something new that we have never done before. Everyone had a great time! Snow, train rides, visiting the north pole...
Then Easton played in the Tom Dorsey Winter golf tournament. It is a 2 day event and luckily it was sunny and not too cold both days. It was his first tournament with his new clubs. He shot 60-58, so definitely not his best tournament, but I was proud of him for keeping his head up.
Spending Christmas money :) Emmy wants everything she sees and changes items about 563836 times...and Easton overthinks his decision and has to make sure what he picks is perfect. So a Muppet Baby bus and Kirby socks! haha

Oh Emmy. She is in that stage where she still needs a nap, but a lot of days does not take one...and you can tell when she is too tired! Whew!
We had an awesome Christmas break. Drake was off the first week with us which was so nice! Then it was me and the kids the other week...park, play dates, games.
