May is done and we are STILL in school. This has been the longest school year ever :) I am so thankful the kids were able to go back face to face this year! But, we started later than usual, so now we will go until June 10th this year.
It is really hitting me now that we are at the end of the year how much I have missed this year and that makes me sad. I miss going to eat lunch with them, popping in on their birthdays, going on field trips...but now that it is the end and Easton will have awards next week that he will just bring home and I won't get to hear anything from his teacher about his year is hard. K4 and 3rd grade for them will be done, and Easton did it 90% wearing a mask everyday not able to see his friend's faces.
Trying to focus on the positives, but we are ready to enjoy our summer break and I am hopeful to head back to a normal year in the fall. The kids have been back in the pool! I don't know how we went so long without one, we love it!
The kids wrapped up their Wednesday AWANA church nights for this school year.
My little Kylie is off to college next year and signed to play soccer at Stetson! I am so proud of her and can't believe she is already at this point in her life.

The library is back open, so we have been riding the golf cart up to check out books again...
So, baseball ended...so we thought. My boy got a call and was asked to play on the All-Stars team! I am so excited for him! It is his first time, and he really put in a lot of hard work this season, so now he gets to see his reward from that. We play this weekend and gosh I know it's a silly little ring, but Easton has his eye on the prize and really wants to win his first ever baseball ring. :)
Drake's sister moved down to Panama City, so we went over there for a weekend. It was so nice out! Emerson had a yucky cough/croup the first night and it made me so thankful for our pediatrician! She was able to call in a steroid to the pharmacy down the road from us and Emerson was able to feel better and enjoy the rest of our weekend.

Since Drake's dad and Kim were down helping her move in, they were also able to come our way to watch the kids play a game which was nice.
With Emerson being in K4, they already had their last day...but she is back at school for camp now until we are done :) Here are her first day, last day shots. I can't believe she will start Kindergarten next year! We did find out Easton's old K teacher that we loved will be back, so I am so excited about that!
We did a family mud run with the Stilwell crew. We had so much fun! I was luckily already mentally prepared for Emerson possibly not liking the mud...and I'm glad I did because she hated it. She wanted me to hold her, so that was not ideal but Easton had a blast.
Another random event we did last month was an adult/junior golf scramble. Poor Easton didn't have much help from me :) But we had fun and I made a great memory with just me and my boy.
We also went to a Blue Wahoos baseball game on Drake's birthday (38!) and had a lot of fun and changed seats 323,556 times :) But the kids lasted the whole game and we got to watch fireworks after.

Lowes...I have been updating and redoing the outside area (adding a dining table so we can hopefully sit out and eat more this summer) and painting/updating bedding in the kid's rooms.
Looking forward to finishing up this school year and making lots of memories this summer!!
