Xander's baptism.

I can't believe my baby boy was old enough to be baptized today. The most exciting part was that his dad was the one who baptized him. For those who know our family, that is truly exciting. Xander had been saying he really wanted his dad to baptize him, so for the past few weeks Jared has been coming back to church with us. 

I didn't take many pictures of the actual baptism as my friend Jannika took those. I will post more later when I get those. But here is some of Xander. 

Then the cousins who stayed all went to temple square and the planetarium. Here are those photos.

Pumpkin party 2013

My parents annual pumpkin party was this weekend. We had pumpkin soup in pumpkin bread bowls. We carved pumpkins. Ate pumpkin pie. And of course dressed up in costumes and played games. 

Here is our family. We are the justice league. 

Wonder Woman. Superman. And batman. 

I don't have any pics of us carving pumpkins as my hands were way too icky. But we had a blast.

Then we broke a piñata. I got a variety of pictures. Sadly none of them of Xander. 

And I forgot to post this last week but my brother and his wife had a baby last week. Then a day later my sister and her husband had a baby. Today we got both of them together.

My weekend

My weekend consisted of the following. 

Spending time with Jared, his brother Tanner and Xander. 

And building Legos with Xander. 

Overall a perfect weekend. 

Xander's 8th birthday.

Today is Xander's 8th birthday. We gave him his first present last night. A new scout shirt for cub scouts. 

 

Since his mom is cub master we now have matching shirts (sort of)

P.S.  Cub Scout shirts are expensive!!!

Then this morning he got up early so he could open presents. 

He got a cars lego set and a kid flash comic book to complete his collection. 

Then tonight after I got off work and Jared got home from his night class we had cupcakes

I sure love this little guy (who tells me all the time now that he is a man now). 

Circus

This weekend we went to the circus with my parents. It worked out that my brother and his kids came too

We were so high up. Alex was petrified. 

But by intermission she was better. 

Then Jared Xander and I went to the planetarium. I love the planetarium. It is free to go in and play with the exhibits. We probably go once a month just for something to do. 

Then today while in sacrament meeting Xander started throwing up. So we rushed home and he is doing better. His birthday is this week and he is excited to turn 8. 

Xander's lost tooth

Xander lost another tooth today. He is now missing three front teeth. 

Yesterday we have Xander a bubble bath. He stuck his chin in the bubbles and said "now I look just like dad". Apparently dad always has a scruffy beard.
