Brooklyn is 10 Months Old!!
-We went on a trip home! We first went to Utah. Mike had a conference in Washington DC, so he went there and Brooklyn and I flew to Salt Lake. After a few days of swimming and hanging out with the family Mike joined us. We spent a few more days in Salt Lake, including our 3rd Anniversary. We went to lunch at Tucanos downtown, then went shopping and went to Temple Square. It was a great day! The next day we went to Idaho for the family reunion and for Kristin and Ried's wedding reception. It was a fun weekend with the family. Then on Sunday we drove back to Utah attended Cameron's mission farewell, and the next day it was back to Colorado. We always love when we get to go home! Here are some pictures:

It has been another good month. (For the most part).
-The hardest part of this month was that we found out Brooklyn is allergic to all sorts of stuff. We went to the allergist and they pricked her back with several items, and unfortunately she had a reaction to quite a few of them. They include: Milk, Casein (protein in milk), soy, egg, peanut, almond, dog, and sesame. Talk about sad!!! I have changed my diet since I am nursing Brooklyn, and it makes me so sad that she can't have these things. However, I am optimistic that she will someday out grow some of them. Hopefully! Along with this, they wanted us to get her blood drawn to double check some things. We tried 3 different times, and it was awful. The first the guy pricked her for like 10 minutes, then said he couldn't do it because he needed another person. We didn't like him, so we went to another place. They couldn't get it and suggested we go to the pediatrician. So a couple weeks later we went there.. and nothing! It is always so hard to see Brooklyn hurt, but seeing her being pricked for absolutely no reason is devastating. So for now I will not let that happen again and we are holding off on the blood work for awhile. Anyways, onto happier things!
-Brooklyn has been doing a "duck" face a lot this month. It is adorable!
-Brooklyn loves to open every cabinet or bag and pull out everything inside. Maybe one day she will like putting things back into cabinets :)
-Brooklyn is on the move so much, that I cherish the cuddle times more and more. They don't happen much, but I sure love it when she is in the mood to cuddle!
-Even though Brooklyn was taking a few steps at 9 months, pretty much by the day she turned 10 months she was walking everywhere! It is crazy how it took her just a few days to learn how to walk so well! Everyone has been commenting on how early she is walking and how good she is!
-I don't think I will ever get sick of how gorgeous her red hair is, and how every single person comments on it! It is the best.
-She is getting a little better at waving, which is cute of course.
-It is hard to say for sure, but I think she has been saying "mama!" She has said dada a couple times too, but she can't say that one too well so it sounds like caca :) I hope soon it becomes more apparent that she knows what to call us!
-Brooklyn is so happy. She is constantly giggling, and engaging in games with us. We just love her so much!
