Here are some things I have written down about him throughout this past year:
- Got a crocodile for his 3rd birthday and calls it a croci gator
- Told me when I get my flu shot he will be there to hold my hand so I am not scared
- Calls power rangers “super masters”
- Called the Grinch the “Christmas Hulk”
- We were talking about Christmas Eve in the barn and Austin said he and Grandpa are going to dress up as power rangers
- Obsessed with power rangers and beating up mike
- Austin got slippers for Christmas and he said oh good! There are 2 of them. I can share with Brooklyn.
- Austin started preschool and he is so excited! He got a dinosaur backpack and has been wearing it non stop- even when he sleeps. He now calls himself a mighty morphin backpack ranger!
He always says “you’re mine” it melts my heart!
- “My eyes are turning on and off and I can’t even stop it!” (Blinking)
- “My toys! They cleaned themselves up!” (After Mike cleaned his room)
- At the 150th railroad celebration there was a parade with horses and buggies. Austin turned to Mike and said, “I gotta tell you something. This is really boring because there is no candy”
- Austin loves to be a naked ninja
- He says “you right?” After so much of what he says. Mike says he will miss it when he stops saying that. Me too.
- We are going to lagoon and Austin said he wanted to ride a spooky ride and if I was scared he would hold my hand :)
- When things get cleaned and Austin doesn’t know who did it or if something is in a different place he claims a wizard did it
- He is also coming up with new “moves” to show off and he loves fighting with mike
- He did a huge toot then said don’t worry it doesn’t stink I put my hand over my bum
- At preschool Austin said he learned to not pick his nose because of the germs. On the drive home I noticed his finger up his nose and he said he wasnt picking it he was just touching boogies
- Leaving the soccer game Austin offered to carry my purse. He then gave me a back rub all the way to the car as well. What a gentleman!
- He is always telling me how he loves me forever. I love him!
- He always says because long and up and down with his voice
- If he wants me to hold him he likes to say he will rub my back because he knows I will hold him if he rubs my back :)
