October - December 2018

October brought lots of fun for Halloween! We went to a pumpkin patch, had parties with friends, and of course Halloween. Brooklyn was Belle and Austin was Spiderman. They were so cute, and we all had a great time!

November was fun with Thanksgiving and getting ready for Christmas. I took pictures for the primary, look at these cute kids of ours!

 Our First snow day of this winter!

 I got released as the primary secretary. I absolutely loved that calling and being able to work with these amazing ladies. Dianne Curtis, Jodi Arzani, and Heidi Stokes. I got a new calling.. primary chorister. I laughed when they gave it to me. I start the last Sunday in December which is this coming Sunday. I am nervous but I think after the few first weeks I will really enjoy it.

Thanksgiving this year was at the Mumford's. We went and spent a couple of days there which was a ton of fun.

Thanksgiving this year we spent a couple of days at the Mumfords. It was so much fun, and I am so thankful for our wonderful family!

December! We went to go see the lights and Temple Square and it was so much fun! Also, Austin is now potty trained!

Brooklyn and I had a date to the Nutcracker with a few friends! 

Austin had a performance for his gymnastics. It was so stinkin cute! He dressed up as a christmas tree and showed off what he has been learning. Grandma and Grandpa came which was fun. This performance could've have been more adorable!

Gingerbread men and some other random fun! Including Brooklyn's art show, church party, girls date to Miracle on 34th at the heritage theatre, seeing Santa at Willard Bay, going to a live nativity, and seeing Mary Poppins at the movie theater! Such a fun month!

Christmas Eve we spent at the Mumford's. Pop and Nana were able to come with us this year which we loved! 

Pop and Nana stayed at our house and we spent Christmas day at home with them. We were all spoiled! At night we talked about what we loved most about Christmas and Brooklyn was so sweet talking about celebrating the birth of Jesus and how much she loves our family. It was such a tender moment! One other thing about Christmas was kind of funny.. Austin opened a couple of presents then he just went and laid in his bed. He said he was tired of opening presents. We brought him out and held him, and once he opened a couple more power ranger things he was ready to go! Him and Brooklyn had been sick so that probably explains it, but it was pretty funny. Austin wanted power ranger stuff which he definitely got, and Brooklyn wanted a horse and a jewelry box. Merry Christmas! 

We got to play with Dak while Allie and Jake celebrated their 4th anniversary. We had so much fun with this kid!

We finished the year with some fondue and games at the Calls. A great way to end a great year!

Colorado 2018

We just gone done with fall break where we went to Colorado! It had been over 3 years since we had been there so it was time we went back to the place we called home for 4 years! The trip was amazing. We had such a great time as a family! Can't wait to go back!

Thursday morning we took off for Littleton. We stopped in Grand Junction and went to the dinosaur museum and had lunch. When we got to Littleton we went to Los Dos Patrillos for dinner and swam at the hotel.

 Friday came and it was time for my personal favorite part of the trip.. Little India! My favorite restaurant did not disappoint!

We also went to Roxborough Park! It was fun driving by our old homes, one of which was in Roxborough. The park was beautiful, and we hiked the south Willow trail. Mike carried Austin most of the time, and we all had a great time. After that we went back to the hotel and swam. The kids absolutely loved swimming at the hotels so we had to do that daily.

Saturday we spent most of the day in Downtown. We went to the Nature and Science museum that was amazing. We spent 4 hours there and didn't even see the whole thing. We had such a great time looking at everything there.

Next it was time for the 16th street mall. We ate at Smash burger and walked the mall a bit. The kids favorite part of this was the shuttle bus haha.

Saturday night we drove to Rawlins, WY. Sunday morning we drove back home. What a fantastic trip. We are thankful we were able to take it, and thankful for the amazing memories!
