Ok kids, just like the title says, this post, and all the Vegas recap posts for that matter, are going to be the death of me. I tried at least 7 times last week to load pictures onto a post to start recounting the trip. And would the freaking pictures load? Hell no. So, here we are a week after the original post was attempted. Three or so weeks after the actual trip occurred. You have my apologies.
Keep in mind that the story won't necessarily go along with the pictures, but I'll point out anything interesting as we go along.
Here goes... Odum, Noelle and I piled all of our shit, and ourselves, into Odum's Scion XB and headed South on I-15. We stopped to pee a couple of times and stopped to get liquor at Lee's in Mesquite, and I think we made it to Vegas in about 6.5 or 7 hours. Coming to the summit of that little tiny hill in the middle of the desert and seeing Sin City for the first time is always such a treat. I tried to get a picture but it ended up being blurry and all the polution didn't help the matter. We drove straight to our hotel and got checked in and then got ready to head out. Noelle and I procurred a To-Go bottle and took it with us in the car on the way to the "Toy Store." If you don't know what kind of toy store I'm referring to, call me, we'll talk. She drank approximately 24 of the 36 ounces and I consumed the rest. Needless to say, we were three sheets to the wind. Well, I was about 2 sheets, she was well past 8 or 9 (sheets to the wind, that is). Odum drove, so he was the poor sober bastard that night!
After the toy store, we grabbed a burger at In-N-Out for dinner. On the way back to the hotel, Noelle felt it was necessary to decorate the side of the car, and then some poor business's parking lot... Odum and I were trying not to gag. The whole time Noelle was in shock... not from alcohol poisoning or anything, just from realizing she did what she did. We dropped her drunk ass off back in the room to nap it off and Odum and I went down to the casino.
We gambled for a bit and then decided to go for a drive and try to find a car wash. We ended up at the Las Vegas sign and took a few pictures. Odum decided to do a self-portrait and I thought I should show up in the background. It's a bit blurry but it makes me laugh. Right around the time we got to the car wash Rose, Kasian and Karen rolled into town. They left about 5 or 6 hours after we did and drove as well. They met up with us at our hotel (cuz they stayed down the street) and we went down to South Coast for some $1 tables. We failed to realize that since it was Rodeo Weekend, and that's a major Rodeo venue, the place was packed and there were no cheap tables. Damn. Oh well, there were lots of hot cowboys to oogle over so we still had fun. I think after we had a drink at the bar, followed a hot cowboy in a pink shirt around (he had the cutest ass ever) and found our way back to the car, we decided to call it a night. I think that was around 1:30 AM and we were supposed to meet Holly and Lisa around 8:30 in the morning!
When we got back to the hotel I happened to glance over at the bar and saw Joe the Bartender. Remember, the cheating bastard who I met last year on the same trip? Yeah, him. Anyway, Noelle and Odum wanted to go up to the bar and have a little chat with him. I was nowhere near intoxicated enough and I wasn't feeling very hot so I said we'd confront him the next night. It's not like we were going to beat him up, just make him sweat a little (keep this in mind for the following night). I looked back at the bar when we were waiting for the elevator and he was looking at me .... let the sweating begin!
And for those of you who were on the trip, feel free to add in anything I may have forgotten!

I got a pink tea kettle for Christmas and it's sooo cute. Too bad it's not made very well and I can't get the screw that fell out to stay put. I'm gonna have to send it back and buy another one. I hate that they're so damn expensive!!! I think I may look into buying this one!

I finally put a wreath on my wreath hanger on the front door. It's even a home made wreath... so you should be proud! It's got lights on it, and I just so happen to have an outlet outside the front door. The only problem is if the cord is plugged in, it kind of impedes the entrance to the house. Sooo, if you come over and the lights are plugged in, either duck under the cord, or just unplug the damn thing!
This afternoon I'm going to tea with my mum, Aunt Carrie, Janice, Auri and I'm not sure who else. Miss Noelle is supposed to join us, but she's not really allowed out. Tea is at the Grand America hotel and I'm so excited. We've gone to tea a few times and it's always so much fun.
My Aunt Carrie gave me one of her old Christmas trees... it's not pre-lit, but they already had lights on it, so good enough. The only problem is, the damn thing won't stay upright. I finally have it jimmy-rigged and on the linoleum so that it won't fall over and I think we're good. Too bad I lost a few ornaments in the process! I really don't feel like my tree is very cool. Compared to my mom's, my tree blows. But oh well, it's up and it's decorated. Go me!
I need to decorate my house. I'm effing sick and tired of looking and nothing but white walls and beige furniture. It's quite boring and I'm getting really bored with it.
My friend Di Bradley left on Friday for Mexico. I'm not exactly sure where she was going, but I'm praying she made it safely. In order to save on the moola, she flew from here to San Diego, took a bus from SD to Tiajuana, then from Tiajuana took a boat or a bus or a train to somewhere else where she was to get on another bus that would take her to her final destination. I told her it was nice knowing her. She said she'd email

This one's for Jaime...
