summer time!

we love summer at our house.
it might have to do with the fact that we have an awesome air conditioner....or that we get to do lots of fun stuff with family and friends.

we went to the cabin....

the chubbers ate dirt....

then he crawled on top of daddy.....

then he sat, patiently waiting, in our stroller for mommy and daddy to get ready to take him on a ride....

we saw our first fish fry...

we celebrated this beautiful girl's 16th birthday.....

and we laid on the couch a bunch.

all in all - a great summer so far!

what's under your appliances?

i'm just saying - if you haven't checked for a few months, maybe you should. especially if the chubbers has been to your house lately.





the hidden treasures we found with our nifty little coat hanger: 3 train cars, 2 bouncy balls, and 10 letter magnets. mind you, these are the only things i'm going to tell you we found. believe you me - we found plenty of other things that went right in the trash.


and just remember - i won't be suprised when the chubbers comes home to tell me he's opening his own lawn mowing business.

oh - the fun we have!

staples and a birthday party -

well, this past weekend was very eventful. first up: knee surgery. lots 'o fun. "but mom - why can't i lay on you while you're recovering from knee surgery???" yep - count em up - 5 staples is really what you see. then...someone little had a birthday party! happy 3rd birthday to this little munchkin - thanks for being such a good cousin to the chubbers! we sure do love having you back on the mainland!
