the hubbers and i went to lunch last week. i took a pic to show that we do, in fact, get dates once in awhile.

the thing i love about these next 2 pictures is that the chubbers and i were both laughing really hard. until he tried to get his shirt off his head, and he realized he couldn't. then the fun was over.

we went to the cabin this last weekend. what a blast! even packing was a blast - as you can tell from the pic below -

we fed the baby horse some apples.....

and then tried to go on a ride on the big horse - but the chubbers wouldn't have it.

we've been busy this summer....you know?
i'm sure you all have been, too.

but we do take time to slow down and have a bubble break once in awhile. this is the chubbers and grandma having a bubble break together.

this sweet girl is getting married soon - had to make sure she was ready for married life.

today - this is my favorite sight in our house. blinds that close are an invaluable thing. never underestimate the power of a blind that closes. trust me - ask your neighbors if you don't believe me.

and - something very special and rare happened on the way to work this morning - my car went from this -
