It's been another week! Sorry I'm just posting once per week but yeah things have been really busy and tight. Well at the end of it all, everything is just quite alright (oh not to mention a relapse of fever and flu which darndedly placed me off training on wednesday and today) and yeah I survived still. Yay!
It's now the end of week 4, and tests are popping up all over the place which is quite pissable. Physics quiz was okay, and CHINESE BOOK TEST ROCKED particularly because I didn't read the books required for holiday reading (2 of them in total) and I found it easy still. Which totally rocks. As long as they keep giving page numbers I'm totally peaced! Heh
It's chinese new year again and this time it's a wowing 4 days worth of rest. Went back to yumin today after school and everything was rather more or less the same, except that I still feel strongly the orange uniform isn't really to my liking. True enough they'd look like striking sunrays from a HDB estate away (as quoted by nicholas) but seriously sometimes standing out everywhere we go might not be such a good idea. I think full white is still the best. NATURALLY WHAT.
Placing all work and tasks off my mind, the stress is yeah well dissipating and I'm starting to enjoy the festive feel. Yay after tuition tomorrow it'll be YAYNESS and I can start to feel truly relaxed. (:
Xin Nian Kuai Le! May everyone have more hongbaos HAHA.

Another week has passed. It's been TIGHT. Hahaha
I was unlucky enough to catch a big flu on Monday and ended up getting all feverish in class so I went home after school and didn't go for training. I spent the free 3 hours sorting my entire life out. Sorting my SEC TWO life haha! All those clutter and worksheets left lying behind under books and shelves and drawers. In fact I realised I didn't file a single thing for french last year. I had two files' worth of french to file but I guess I must have forgotten. (:
By the way I forgot to tell everyone that I found my handphone back in the end. Sorry! HAHA
Tuesday was fun. Went back to school after french and drew the entire obs banner. Actually the banner wasn't that big. It was indeed a little too small for an entire sec3 cohort to see but time wasn't waiting for us so we had to work on it anyway. In the end it turned out beautiful. Nicely.
Wednesday and thursday passed without much special events but overall it was really tight. Pressed for time with homework and stuff. Sometimes we just have to tell ourselves that it's for the long run that we're running for. It's only week 3 of the first term! And seriously burning out is really a bad thing to consider. But in the end I did pull through. Of course la, i HAD to.
Friday was sweet. OBS finale was a big blast and the payoff was meaningful. Not to mention the funky blue tarp (by 3K jargons, the bangla) hung on top of the projector screen to shut off the sunlight. The banner was looking great (it was painted on wednesday), hung above everything else. Everything else went along well prettily enough. It has paid off. (:
And that's about all for the week. Huge workload awaits me now tata!
By the way I managed to SCRAPE my delf with a 57/100. And I'm feeling the pain. Japheth got 73 gosh!

It's been a comfortable week. Not much of stress or tight schedules.
First three days were calm and went well. Thursday was simply and arguably the best day of my life! Well it all started with a simply supposed URGENT prefect meeting after school before french class. And I was fidgeting with impatience in my seat at the lecture theater waiting for the meeting to end when suddenly Mr Lim popped up the topic on BIRTHDAYS. I was wondering, HOW COINCIDENTAL.
And soon after a 4kg cake made its entrance. And hoho I didn't realise until a few minutes later that the cake actually came from my PARENTS. And I was totally taken by surprise! The whole thing was done without me knowing. My mom passed the cake to Mr Lim during lesson time and they prepared and everything. I'm certain all the january babies enjoyed it (:
Oh well it really made my day. I was really taken by surprise, for once.
Friday was crap. But I'm thankful that I didn't drown during my first swimming lesson! Heh anyway I wouldn't mind. Dying fifteen years old and on an inauspicious day is quite suiting HEH. Ok touchwood. Then after school I went to ICA to do my identity card and ended up losing my handphone there. Went all panicky and ran around trying to find it (I thought I lost it in school) in the schoolgrounds when I got back. Ended up being late by 15mins for training. When I turned out my bag GOSH IT WAS FLOODED INSIDE. My water bottle opened up in the midst of all that running and yeah well. All my books I brought that way were soaked and pulpy. Thankfully it was quite sunny so I lay my books by the stadium steps to dry hahaha. But it's NOT WORKING! Clever me tried to study chinese and now my chinese textbook is in pulpy tatters!
Putting that aside I still managed to gobble abit of maths and french today. Plus a LITTLE BIT of chinese. After which I went for my first ever church service! It was really fun and everything. Now the thing that troubles me is HOW TO ATTEND AGAIN with my parents disapproving me. I will try my best!
That was the week. Now is the music, rest and chatting. Tomorrow will be reflection and the rest of the year (:

For all that happened today, I am grateful and moved by it and I would really like to thank everyone who has made my day today in one way or another. I cherish all of you in my life! Life is good!
I'm sorry im not blogging much. I'll do it during the weekends I guess? Busy busy (:

I'm back from OBS! And it was really fun. But more importantly I can surely say that my class seriously rocks. And I feel comforted for that thought. Through those 5 days we've cooked, pitched tents, kayaked, hiked, screamed, ranted, blew our tempers, and we got all bonded with a couple of class jargons, and AN OFFICIAL CLASS SONG HAHA.
Funny things to point out of the entire 5 days worth of fun and glory:
- On the first day we ate crispy rice due to inexperience in cooking and I just ate along. After a while I realised I was eating flies along with the rice. Yellow tasteless ones. Hahaha I got a huge dose of protein for that meal! NEVER MIND.
- Note for all those going to OBS. In Camp 2, there's a small toilet at the kitchen area which is ten thousand times cleaner than the main one next to the stores. Use that toilet! Very few go there!
- When you pitch tents pull all the strings the TIGHTEST you can and you'll get the perfect tent which is so spacious you can kick around while sleeping and still not hurt the others. (:
- Hahaha and when you get pissed during kayaking because the back group is straying too much and unable to catch up, dont whistle and point the finger, remember to use the paddles for signalling!
Class jargons were super funny! Listing a few... "Don't worry tonight got feast!" "The bangla fly away la!" "Hey Joel do you take drugs?" Plus the entire lyrics of My Humps by bep. Yes it's our official class song! Hurray!
Haha well that's one whole week of fun ended and it's back to school. School was rough for a first day, having all three sciences at once! But okay it was alright the teacher didn't go through much. Having a 10 subject combination with french is a nice surprise - 4 free periods every fortnight! And my first one was yesterday :D Track was quite slack. There was mass overcrowding at the track again and it was raining so yeah well didn't manage to run much. Haha well tomorrow will be fun again!

It's one more day to the start of school! Boy am I feeling excited (It's just the OBS, I'm not being a pok). Years just come and go, they never cease to make us believe that WE'RE GETTING OLD. Yes by the way the thought of turning fifteen is scary.
We are all going to face a whole new challenge, just like what we have always done. And the main point is that we've gone this far; we certainly won't give up will we? That spirit, that passion, that flame - will BURN in us. We will fight for what's worth, and rest on what's not. As we live for years and years on, we shall continue to see the last sunrise of every year, feel the warmth on our faces, and understand the truths and realities of the world. Time hasn't ever stopped for anyone, and it won't stop now either. There's gotta be this understanding in us; that there will be a time to move on every now and then after periods of rest, and that time arguably is NOW.
The past year has been a dawdle a doodle a mess and a pain. But in it we come to realise the strengths in believing in the best we can be. We understand the joy happiness brings and our fortune in being able to experience it. We learn to put the pain in sorrows to the back, and the lesson in mistakes to the front.
Honestly if we could go back in time I would want to relive the 14-year-old experience once more. But then again let's stop whining about the past and MOVE ON. (:
Here we look at the new year right in our faces and I feel... strangely calm. Neither far too exuberant or the heaviness of disappointment that school is gonna start. We are just going to live our lives just like before, but this time on a boat trip much more smooth, a building much more stable. Heh for me, the common angst is nothing but GONE. And yes I feel mature. From this point onwards, the books, the track, the sketchbook takes a totally whole new meaning. Pains we might face, sorrows we might run into, but we will learn to see the truth in disguise, the joy in demise.
From the insecuity and untrust of disguise we find truth and warmth underneath; a familiar face beyond those unsafe exteriors. From the anguish and agony of demise we derive happiness and joy, joy for that we've learned from it and therefore we will live life better with every tripstone. Well I have lots of things that I need to forget, and a whole lot of others to remember. Thanks to everyone who've made a difference to my life, both positive and negative. Thank you for the light, thanks for the poison cos both have made me strong.
Oh yay and I wish everyone happiness, success and a blessed life.

It's only a few hours left to the new year. So yes let's cherish what's left of THIS year. Ah gosh I'm really really tired but it seems really really dumb to sleep at such a time don't you think?
For 2A people, here's wishing you guys a wonderful year ahead. Make the best of it in your new class next year and keep up the spirit! I'll be here if you people need help anytime :D
For 3K people, here's a GREAT year ahead. We will make the best of it yeah? Let's rock!
For RIPB, let's SCALE THOSE PEAKS. We will do it together! Busy as we are, occupied as we seem, we will pull through everything altogether beautifully. Everything will go fine and we'll fight our way harder! Cheers and fight on!
For everyone else, believe in your aspirations and desires, achieve them with effort and don't give up. Go on with your determination, fall back if you must, but fall back on what you currently have and not on nothing. Things will always go right if you see them to be. In all of life's sorrows, just see the truth the disguise, the joy in demise. (:
And yes happy new year!
