Carmi Turned Three

Carmi turned three on the 25th and then we had Eric' birthday on the 26th. I was running a little behind so we finally had Carmi's Maisy Cupcakes on saturday.

I found a site where you can upload a picture and get edible images made. They turned out so cute!

Jared couldn't get enough of his! He ate it like it was the last one he would ever get!

I find it pretty entertaining that Lilli has started saying "delish" in reference to food she likes (which is very little, the picky thing)

Jared likes to climb on my step stool and sit with me at the computer, he pretty much climbs up everything, he is a lot like Lilli at this age, not cautious at all and climbing everything in sight. Of course that usually ends up in a lot of falls...

The kids have been playing in the garage a lot lately. Probably because it's way to hot for Lilli to go outside and ride her bike.

They play with Eric's fishing poles a lot.

Not quite sure what was happening here, Lilli took all these pictures. I was actually happy she did, I've been slacking pretty bad lately and was happy someone took them!

Gary and Sue went and got Eric's trumpet out of storage where it's been sitting for the last 13 or so years and gave it back to him when we first moved back to Washington. He's been serenading us with all sorts of primary songs.

This morning the girls decided to make "pie" and "muffins"

Jared of course climbed up on the oven door (don't worry, they don't know how to turn the oven on thank goodness)

I have a super dinosaur stove (it wouldn't surprise me if it was from the 1970's) and the burner temperature control handles come off really easy.

It doesn't help that they are in easy reach either. This stove would probably horrify all those child safety people. But hey, it works great!

Waffle Trees and Dentistry

The other day Lilli asked Eric to draw her a tree, and then draw her some apples. Since then she has been doing this everyday, except she started adding waffles to her tree along with the apples.

Eric had a super crazy busy day at work on Monday. When he got home Monday night the girls said they needed to tuck him into bed before they would go to bed. He said he figured he would let them, and then just get up after a little while since it was only 9 am. Well he ended up falling asleep, which is rare, he hardly ever goes to bed before midnight! (I guess he was tired!)

Sizzle Sizzle

This has been us the past few weeks. It finally cooled down this week, but the previous couple of weeks I don't think it went below 80 degrees. Our daily average has been about 105...whew. Since we arrived here two months ago it has only rained three, maybe four times. We haven't broken down and bought a hose to water the lawn yet, so it looks pretty sad (seriously, who waters their lawn when there is humidity!! We aren't in a desert after all....well I think!)

 So we have been spending a lot of time inside. The girls get pretty crazy sometimes.

 Carmen made herself a bed on the fireplace.

 Lilli climbed into the body pillow and rolled down the stairs a dozen times (very funny to watch)

 Once Jared started walking there was no holding him back. He's all over the place.

 One Sunday we happened to be ready for church early *shock!surprise* so Eric took a few pictures.

 Carmi with her Sunday smile. The girls love putting on Sunday clothes, since we don't have church until 2 pm it's a challenge getting them to wait all day.

 This is one of the things I love about most little kids Jared's age. They will still fall asleep in your arms or in your lap...

 This picture was an accident, but  I thought it was funny.

The funny face expression comes from saying "cheese, pizza, ice cream" (that's what my girls say when they are getting their picture taken)


Eric went to Spokane to his brothers wedding about three weeks ago. He had a great time visiting with some family he hadn't seen in quite some time.

 Matt and Nicole, they were married in the Spokane LDS temple.

My apologies for anyone who tried to watch the video I posted. I'll hopefully figure this out soon cause it's a fun one!

The girls like to give me random things to look up on google images, carrots, pizza, bananas, maisy mouse...that type of thing. Then Lilli will hit the color options and things will get crazy! Purple bananas, green pizza..all sorts of fun stuff!
